Johnny's Other Side

My boyfriend and I were on the hunt for Orlando’s best burger. When this phrase was entered into google Johnny’s Other Side was one of the top results. We were not disappointed by the food at all. The burgers were amazing. We ordered chicken wings as an appetizer. While we were not disappointed by the wings, our food was brought out five minutes later. That was a bit overwhelming. Our biggest complaint was the staff. Not knowing it was self seating we waited by the bar for five minutes. The bartender jaw jacked with a customer for five minutes, not even glancing at us standing there awkwardly. The bartender, the customer she was speaking to, and a gentleman with the female customer were the only people at the bar. While informative and efficient, the employees were not friendly or welcoming. Even when trying to be conversational, they didn’t reciprocate. While it didn’t ruin our experience, it did put a bit of a damper on it and reflects my 4/5 rating vs a 5/5. Out of the four people we came into contact with, all four were not very welcoming.

They have great food and the service was decent considering they were packed for family night for Pershing school. Not sure whose idea it was to have children at a bar but they made it work. The food took about an hour to arrive but again there was a school event there plus their regulars. I must say there was a man singing and playing the guitar and that man CAN sing you didn't have to be drunk to hear the talent that man had. I will definitely be returning to get food, I'm not much of a drinker but I can eat!!

Finally a good biscuits and gravy in Orlando! Simple, yet rich and deep flavor. This is how biscuits and gravy should be. The crispy potatoes that come as a side are stupid good! My wife and I also shared the deviled eggs. I was skeptical at first because you never see them on the menu at restaurants, but they were delicious. We will absolutely come back.

My first time trying them out, i ordered the rice bowl with fish, and my mom ordered the fresh beet salad. They both were delicious. I planned to dine in but decided to place a Togo order due to health issues. My server Stephanie was very attentive not just to me but to everyone she served. Even though I placed a Togo order, you can see that she was fast and efficient at making sure all her tables were taken care of. While we waited for our meal Togo, we asked for a cup of water. That had to be the best tasting water that I have ever had from a restaurant.

Food super good as always I ordered the real man burguer, we went there for Father’s Day and the atmosphere was really good with some live music, the only thing was the server with some negative attitude and treating us really bad maybe bc we are Hispanics, I’m so disappointed because we go there all the time, her name is Jamie C
