We had a good time here. Nice, newly remodeled space playing on the area's history with plenty of reasonably priced beers on draft. Decent enough happy hour. Some things on the menu you don't see often enough like poutine and cheese curds too. Good selection of burgers and there's wings as well. Soup of the day was this spectacular tequila chicken soup; something like tortilla soup and corn chowder. Nice. Burger was good. Lots of tots, they really load you up. Super friendly staff. Refreshing change of pace from the usual commercial options. Small lot but there's street parking behind. Enjoyable.

Blue Jacket is a great bar and grill with great friendly bartenders. The prices are good and the the place is clean. We like to sit at the bar but they also have plenty of seating in the dining area or the outside patio. If you like your wings crispy like me then The double dipped wings are the best wings around, they also have wings for those of you that don't prefer the crispy. We stop in about once a week and have tried pretty much everything on the menu. Everything we have tried has been great goes perfectly with the cold beer and mixed drinks. The Double Dipped Wings, Bacon wrapped Tots, Fried Pimento, Cheese Curds and Burgers are some of our favorite items. If you go try the Gin and Jam drink, they make a great one!

I'm upset for not visiting sooner! The food was delicious, our server was friendly, and, well, you should go too! My friends and I ordered the poutine as an appetizer, and I'm glad we did. The fries were perfect, crispy at times, soggy where the brown gravy had soaked them. The cheese was delicious and more than plentiful. My friend and I both ordered the beer cheese burger, with tater tots. The burger was well seasoned, but I think the beer cheese was a bit too much for me, it almost overpowered the burger. It was tasty, though! My friend's wife got the sliders, which she raved about. There are lots of other items on the menu, I can't wait to go back to try them!
