Review Bad As's Sandwich - Orlando

Florida Sunshine
First visit here ! We stopped in for a team late lunch after a double header. Food is delicious ( especially for a sandwich), and the plantains are a perfect side. The workers were chill, friendly, and helpful. Checked on us multiple times . We literally showed up with like 40 + players and families, and they busted the food out like it was a Sunday afternoon ( which it was). Anyways I would drive 25 miles from our hood to support them !!!!! Awesome service!

I go out of my way to come here for their sandwiches. Truly the best bad As’s sandwiches I’ve ever had. Today I had their special which is the Black Knight. Filled with juicy prime rib, cheddar cheese, tater tots, fried egg, garlic Mayo and to top it off bacon cooked perfectly, not too crispy and not to soft. This place is ridiculously delicious and will 100% be back. The people who work here are always hospitable, quick to deliver and make you feel right at home.

I’m still sitting here eating, I couldn’t wait to write the review! We ordered the Ninja and it’s amazing. I also got the tomato bisque soup and it’s so creamy and delicious. The experience from the moment we walked in, to ordering, to the table was 10/10! Sandwiches are amazing and the pork belly melts in your mouth it’s delicious. Amazing service with the food to back it up. I’m definitely coming back.

I absolutely love coming here, and it’s only my second time here, but everyone is super respectful and well spoken with one another. It’s such a positive vibe in here, very underrated place near downtown. FOOD IS ALWAYS AWESOME ❤️

I’m not the best photographer, but this shop is legit. Fantastic food and even the potato chips were superb. Definitely a nice change of pace from traditional Publix subs (which I love to death)! Give it a try

I was a bit surprised to find this place so hidden, but I'm glad my friend recommended this place to me. Shout out to the people working there: Sam, Anthony, and Daniel. I got the Porkalypse, absolutely DELICIOUS, with tatertots that were also incredible. I love the sauce. My friend got the Medusa which is more of a traditional sub, and the fries that are a tad over seasoned. But he recommends the Ninja. Overall, I will come back to this place.

Seriously amazing sandwiches, I’ve come twice in the past 3 days because I couldn’t stop thinking about The Knight. The steak is so flavorful & tender. I’ll be back very soon & will recommend to friends

First off, when you walk in you are insta toy genuinely welcomed with a friendly smile. When i tell u i dream of their tomato soup. I dream of it. It’s creamy, rich, and delicious. I was skeptical of their grilled cheese bc how fancy can a grilled cheese get. Let me tell you that it blew my mind. The cheese thickness & savory flavor. Nick has the best reccs. He will not fail with his recomendation!

We were in the mood for sandwiches and came across Bas As’s! So happy we did. The sandwiches were spectacular. Very tasty. Loved the tater tots and tomato 🍅 soup as well. These people know-how to make a sandwich with love! 👏👏👏

Literally the best damn sandwich I have had in a while. We ordered 7 to try them all and they were all incredible! Is a MUST stop for anyone coming to Orlando. Drove 25 minutes to get there and don’t regret it. The Ninja and Killer are amazing and their tots and dip…. Perfection.

Decided to stop and try this sandwich shop after we heard great reviews.. and it did not disappoint. The service was great, and the sandwiches.. pure deliciousness. I got the Ya mon sandwich. Jerk chicken, sweet plantains, a perfect balance of sweet and seasoned. The chicken by itself out the sandwich was well seasoned, tender and very juicy. I will say come with enough appetite this sandwich was huge!! I also was tempted and got the home made pork rinds. Fresh out the fryer.. very good!! Overall a phenomenal experience and we can't wait to come back to try the other options.

First visit! Hidden gem! Passed it a million times and finally tried it. Amazing quality and delicious creations. Accommodating for gluten free, substitute for over salad, it was great! Fun atmosphere and kind people. Highly recommend!

Milk District Gem! This is a great sandwich restaurant in Orlando's Milk District. There are a lot of unique sandwiches to choose from that are great twists on old favorites. We had the Django (Steak Sandwich) and the Hog (Cuban), and they were both amazing. Quick service and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I finally got the chance to eat here! I went in with VERY HIGH expectations, and they exceeded those!!! Every gourmet sandwich is made to order and the people there are so nice and helpful with recommendations. The owner, John was there and I told him this was our first time there and he welcomed us with open arms and even treated us to some homemade pork rinds (phenomenal by the way)! Such a great guy and such a great staff!! We got a total of 4 sandwiches and each one was excellent!! Please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a sandwich! Absolutely the BEST sandwiches I’ve ever had!! Thank you John, Blaine and Stacy, for making us feel at home! BTW…they now have an app and you can order through there as well! 🙌🏻❤️

This was my second time here and it did not disappoint. It’s really a local gem. I got the Soprano sandwich with tomato bisque and they even had a vegan option for my wife which she said was really good. The sandwich prices are a little on the high side but the quality is worth it. All the meat is super flavorful and tender. Most of the sandwiches hit like comfort food. Also, the staff was fantastic and the guy was super helpful navigating the menu. Definitely a go to spot for that satisfying quick meal.

Bad As’s Sandwich has a name it DESERVES! Their sandwiches are some of the best in all of Orlando! I saved this place for so long and never got around to checking it out, and I am so happy I finally did. Their food is so, so good. We (as a group of 3) got the IRA, Killer, and Ya-Mon. We got some plantains, pork rinds, house-made potato chips, and French fries as sides. Literally everything was perfect! The IRA was a unique twist on a classic corned beef and pastrami - it was a bit spicier than normal, but I think I like that even better! The Killer was just amazing - fried chicken, hot honey, cheese, and more! Who wouldn’t love that?! And then the Ya-Mon was the best one! So many amazing flavors unlike anything we’d ever eaten before. I am craving this particular sandwich so much now that I’ve tried it once. I’ll have to get it again one of these next couple of days! As for the sides, everything was amazing. The pork rinds were my favorite just because they had an excellent seasoning on them and they came with a really good dip that enhanced the pork rinds so much more. The French fries were just really good classic fries, chips were really good classic kettle chips, and the plantains were exactly what plantains should taste like. We had absolutely no complaints and we are all dying to come back! Check this place out ASAP because you are missing out every single day you are not here!!

You can go have a regular sandwich that tastes okay at a chain sandwich place, or you can support a locally owned AMAZING sandwich shop, which is what you will find at Bad As's Sandwich. The wonderful sandwich creations that Chef John Collazo comes up with never disappoint and always exceed expectations. I started with The Ruler as my first sandwich. The chicken was wonderfully seasoned and tender, but the gouda with the smoked paprika aioli nearly blew my mind. So darn good!! I've been working my way through the entire menu and have never been disappointed by a single menu item. I also love the unique specials that are offered. To top it off, it's a great place to support local beer by grabbing a cold one to enjoy with your sandwich. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful and is always wanting to know how your experience was. Bad As's Sandwich is a GEM in Orlando!

Just visited for the first time today and it was well worth the wait!! The Bad As’s was one of, if not the best, sandwiches I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned meats, cheese, veggies, killer sauce, and a perfect sub roll (this is always key in making a perfect sandwich and they NAILED the roll!)The tomato soup was very well done and my wife loved her grilled cheese! Chips were great too. Will definitely be back!!

This place is amazing! No sliced meat here it's all pulled! I must say this is the best sandwich I have had in a long long time ... I eat a lot of sandwiches. Great variety and easy pricing of choices!

Let’s just say the drive from Tampa was worth it! Apart from having incredibly delicious sandwiches, this shop exemplifies the true meaning of great customer service. I have been here a few times but my most recent trip there was with my young nephew who like most his age are very picky with their food. An amazing employee there named Condo decided to take on the challenge and created a special sandwich just for him based on his likes, and to our surprise he said yes to trying something new. He devoured the sandwich to say the least. We are so grateful for Condo and the rest of the employees there for making this such a fun experience for him. We will definitely be returning! Thank you to your team!

My new love the BIG BOY!! A meal between two slices of wonderous fresh bread goodness. The adobo is tender, the aioli delicious, and the tater tots stay crispy...perfection!

In town from Milwaukee, WI and was told this was the spot. Let me just say, my family was NOT lying. I had the Porkcalypse - adobo pork, bacon, crispy onions, housemade pickles, tamarind BBQ sauce. Oh my LORD was it ever delicious. The staff was down to earth and willing to answer any queations about their menu as this is not your typical sandwhich shop, but rather a Bad As's Sandwhich shop. On as side note they just celebrated their 1 year anniversary and there are 4 new BAS's not currently on their website so I recommend you either wander in or make a call. In the fine words of Dora the Explorer - Delicioso (spanish for the twist on their food) LOVED...LOVED...LOVED IT!

Nothing compares to the quality of the sandwiches! Every flavor combination is carefully thought out. This isn’t a sandwich it’s a masterpiece!

Staff was amazing, and food was just as excellent. The layers of flavor were a welcome change to my normal sandwich. We will be back!!

Best sandwich in town! Customer service was excellent, and greatly appreciated. As we walked to our car, the chef came out from a door back of house and thanked us for coming, asked how our sandwiches were, and invited us to the anniversary party! Great vibe in the place and did I mention the sandwich was great! Keep doing what your doing.

I'm a lover of sandwiches. I've never met a sandwich I didn't like here. There's something in the sauce that makes them a boss when it comes to combining things between two pieces of fresh mouthwatering bread! My goal is to get through the whole menu, one delicious bite at a time!
