We've always loved their strawberry cake and decided to try the new award winning ice cream and it was good. 4 small cups with two scoops each was only around $20 so not a bad price. And they even sell it by the pint and gallon. The new owner also renovated the place and it's classier. Definitely drop by and give it a whirl. There isn't a place to sit other than a bench outside so we just took the ice cream home and ate it since we love nearby. Oh and also they provide color changing spoons with the ice cream!

Amazing old fashioned bakery with a new twist. The ice cream is incredible and there are so many flavors to choose from. I’ve been coming here for 33 years and have never been disappointed. Enjoy!!

First of all, love the ice cream and the cookies are fantastic. We have try a couple of cakes and they are very good as well. For the last couple of years we get thanksgiving rolls and pies. Deff recommend to stop by and give them a try

I had a wonderful experience at Charlie’s! The staff is very friendly and pleasant. My fiance and I had never been there before and she let us try all of the ice cream flavors. Hands-down BEST homemade ice cream I have ever had! It is so creamy and all of the flavors are incredible…it was hard to choose!! My fiancé is not a big fan of ice cream and he walked away with not one, but two scoops because it was so good! Highly recommend!

Great place that caters to those who want ice creams, cakes, cookies and cup cakes! Besides the regular vanilla and strawberry etc...they offer some unique flavors!
One of our favorite was Tahitian Vanilla Rum (Jamaican Rum) flavor ice cream...it's a must try!!
We'll definitely be returning to try some other flavors!

Favorite dessert place in town. I love that they have multiple dairy free ice cream options that all taste delicious! My favorite is the key lime dairy free ice cream! I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it always puts a smile on my face. Ms Patty is a joy and provides a very comfortable environment that always makes you wanna come back.
I love dropping by and grabbing a yummy premade cake on the way to any party, they are always a hit. The key lime pie is typically my go to but they are all amazing!
I absolutely love this place if you can’t tell, if you need somewhere to get high quality desserts for a great price…GO TO CHARLIES!

I grew up in Conway during the 80's. We went to Charlie's for our birthday cakes, Sunday morning pastries and sometimes just to get something sweet. When I got married I shared this bakery with my Mother-in-law who came to love it as much as I did. I did move away and am only able to visit here when I came back to see my Mom. I had heard that Charlie's had been sold and remodeled so when I was on that side of town today I decided to give it try. And while the shop had been updated the smell was just as I remembered and the selection was just as good. Then I saw it sitting in the refrigerated case. It was a blast from my past. The "Checkerboard Cake". I grabbed it and took it back to my kids up in Seminole County. They loved it and it was just as good as I remembered it being. Thanks for keeping true to the original.

Stopped by today with co-workers for the first time. It felt a little small when I first walked in, but when you look at the selection then you realize that they actually have tons of options.
I wasn't sure what to get and since I didn't feel like getting anything too sweet, I went with the Napoleon. It was still slightly sweeter than I expected, but it was not overwhelming.
I've already made it clear to my co-workers that we're going back so we can try different things.

When you walk in the store is clean, bright, friendly staff and just gives you a comfy feeling. The added ice cream side is great. As far as the bakery, the prices are comparable with others but the most important part is that the quality far exceeds all others.
