I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Jack and Mary's Dinner! The food was served piping hot and incredibly fresh, leaving my taste buds satisfied. The service was top-notch, with an attentive and efficient server who ensured my ice tea cup was always full. Despite the restaurant being full, the staff remained polite and on point throughout.
I am genuinely impressed by the exceptional service and delectable food, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Jack and Mary's Dinner has won me over.

I'm not typically ebullient in Reviews, but this spot is certainly 5-star worthy. Simple, unassuming and clearly frequented by "regulars" who know not to judge this book by its cover. Great atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff here clearly enjoy their jobs. Today, classic 70's & 80's were playing on the old stereo and smiles were in abundant supply.
We were looking to try a new place, and we were going to be in the area this morning, so we decided to try Jack & Mary's for breakfast.
It's a small place and it was packed when we got there. I guess it's because it's so good. We decided to wait as we figured it must be worth it.
I got Country Fried Steak and Eggs with Grits and Cuban bread. It was very, very good. The Cuban Bread was grilled and really good as well as an unusual bread option. Everything was excellent, even the Grits were really good.
My wife got Chocolate Chip Pancakes. They were huge. Trust me, get two, not three. She loved them.
Once we were seated, the service was excellent as well as the food.
Did I mention the coffee was really good as well? I wish this place was in my neighborhood. Highly recommended.
Unpretentious diner, good servers who know their stuff. Great hash browns!!! My husband said it was less greasy than other restaurants’ but still crunchy on the outside. Great flavor to his country fried steak and scrambled eggs, also my grilled chicken salad. Homemade biscuit with real butter and jelly.
Motown 60’s music was fun.
We found our new breakfast place. Great service. Great food. What else can you ask for. 100% recommend.
Found this place on line and despite being about 30 mins from International Dr it looked like our kind of place and it did not disappoint. They had Chip Corn Beef Gravy on the menu and that description thru me for a loop as never heard it called anything other than Creamed Chip Beef or SOS. It was very worth the drive.
The place recently sold and I’ve noticed an outstanding improvement in food, quality, and management. The new owners really care about the staff and customers and you can feel that from the minute you walk in the door. The food is outstanding!
This is my wife’s and I go to place for a good breakfast! I really like breakfast and lunch diners and this is one of the best around. Friendly servers and plenty of regular locals.
