As someone who has never been here before, my experience here was awesome. From the moment I walked in the staff was warm and welcoming with smiles. I’m not familiar with this type of cuisine, so I needed a little help. Staff went above and beyond to help me order the perfect meal. I tried the mofongo and pork belly and it’s to die for. The chef came out to speak with a costumer and he was also super friendly and welcoming. Overall excellent experience. Thank you for being so welcoming to newbs :) I wish I lived closer, so when I’m traveling through again I’ll definitely be back.

Love it here. Food is more than enough, attention is great from the moment you step foot inside.
I highly recommend the roasted Cuban pork shoulder, the Cuban tamales and the gandules rice.
Also the breaded chicken breast is a must in Rice and beans.
Finish up with a Cuban cortadito ☕️ and you’ll be all set for the day.

This place has so much potential . However , they don’t have it quite together here . The cook so far ( I gauge by empanadas ) nailed it on flavor , moisture and texture . It was identical as home made . Excited to try more .
Cons: no menu depicting everything they offer . They have a sheet for the lunch and some dishes but not all . So i had to ask and guess if there was more . ( which there was )
Don’t expect a smile . They are alert and pay attention to your request . So that is good. A little warmth and perhaps attention to advertising . They will flourish .
Did go back to taste a tiramisu dessert but they didn’t seem to carry it any longer . ( no menu so I went by google pics lol )

Pleasantly surprised! My friend wanted to have lunch at Rice and Beans. We went to the location off East Colonial close to downtown. It was so adorable!!! This was my first time eating at the restaurant. All I can say is, “Wow.” The food was beyond delicious and served with a loving portion. To be a restaurant chain, the food authenticity was not watered down. Kudos!

I've been to a couple of Cuban restaurants on our visit and by far this was the best! The food was delicious well seasoned and authentic! Oh can't forget about the service which was great!! Definitely will be visiting again when we're in the area.
