BENTO has always been my go to sushi place. We love the Volcano Roll and the Crunch Roll, and the poke bowls are also always good. I’d recommend everyone try the volcano roll! My friends have gotten the Boba Teas and really enjoyed it.

Great menu with plenty of options from bowls, bento boxes to great sushi. The sushi was great, fresh, and well made. The price is right here and is perfect for everyone. Even though it can be crowded, the line moves and the food comes out fairly quick. Highly recommend this place especially for sushi.

We tried the Bento branch in winter park and in UCF. The UCF store is wider. our sushi takes a while to be served but that is alright. There are so many toppings compared to the winterpark branch. otherwise all are the same in terms of service, accessibility and ambience.

Did not like the sauce that came on my original entree ordered online and they allowed me to come back and switch for another entree. Great service. Also ordered a slush on my second trip with popping boba. Delicious! Would be back.

Quite a unique restaurant that has good food but is quite expensive for the value and portion sizes. The egg rolls were decent but didn’t have too much extra flavor although the sauce was tasty. The poke bowl was the star of the show with decent quality ingredients and a unique noodle base instead of the traditional rice which was much appreciated. Since ordering with a server, the scoops of protein was not much and even at the largest sizes was still quite lacking in portions for the price of the bowl.

Fantastic little place. The food is great and the service was good. It took a little time to be served but that is kind of expected since the place was really busy.
The ambience is fine. Pretty cozy and chill this is a good place to go as a group or for a date.
The food was great, there is a lot of options. From all sorts of type of Asian food. The food we had was well cooked and well portioned.
Highly recommended place. Would go again.

20 minute wait time during their less busy 5:30pm Tuesday. Regular milk tea tasted just right with chewy and not over cooked boba. Likely honey boba and not white sugar. For the size of the bowl I think 12 dollars is okay. Rice was cooked correctly. Crunchy and salty string beans. Right amount of orange sauce. Chicken pieces are a bit big in my opinion. I love that the chicken is battered and not breaded. Miso soup had very little tofu and the one piece I found was a bit purple (this is the second time this has happened to me at Bento, not at this location, and only at Bento). Overall good deal.

Food was fresh. I went in at 7.30pm on a Tuesday night and the place was packed with a line. Definitely inviting to a young crowd. The food is pleasing for a group of college kids or a large group to please multiple pallets but if you're looking for authentic, this is not it. This place is VERY AMERICANIZED. Also, the boba pearls were undercooked in my drink which throws off the texture and killed the enjoyment for me a bit. Other than that, my dish was decent and even better after it got cold overnight.

One of the best asian restaurants I have been to. First of all the provide a good amount of food for a very affordable price. My boyfriend and I ordered the katsu chicken and the pineapple sweet and sour chicken. I definitely recommend the katsu chicken and it basically taste like an asian version of chicken tenders which is delicious!! The environment felt very comfortable and the staff was super friendly. Definitely will be coming back!

Come here once a week for lunch and have never been disappointed. Portions are fair and great quality. The bento boxes are great!

A delicious burst of flavors from every bite. Bento does not disappoint. I have tried a variety of their rice bowls, noodles, sushi and boba teas. The Pao Pao chicken has become one of my family’s favorite bowls. I also recommend the Sriracha Garlic rice bowl. There are some alternatives for the rice. You can choose from white, brown or fried rice. They also have Tofu and other protein options. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. The Boba is delicious and affordable.

Great customer service, the food was fresh and tasty. There are many options when you build your bowl. I absolutely love it!

Hungry and tired after a long driving, I think the bartender as I was sitting on the bar named AJ (I forget his name) tall, skinny guy. Awesome bartender/server and understands hospitality. He quickly picked I was tired and he made sure he gave me a bunch of sauces to accompany my poke bowl I ordered and he gave me a couple good recommendations which tasted excellent btw. That was a great service looking like. I gotta come back because I love the food, the ambience and the service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Shoutout to UCF Bento for being the lowest quality bento I’ve been to. Can’t believe that my girlfriend and I sat down and waited 45 minutes to get served our edamame. Even after numerous other tables that ordered after us kept getting their food, we waited and waited for what seemed like forever. Finally it shows up after 2-3 people asked if we were waiting for food, without an apology. I won’t be back here. Thanks for the F- customer service

Great food fast service. My new number one place to eat. Got the steak noodle bowl. And order another to go. Plus the boba drinks are amazing as well

Went in for sushi and they only put eel on half my order, and disguised the other half with excess sauce. It's kind of sad what they have to do to save money.

Very poor service today. .The restaurant was almost empty and it took a half hour to get our food. We had to ask for it twice. It looks like it's being run by a bunch of kids.Very frustrating and we may not return.
Tastes Of Orlando
Bento primarily serves up what is best described as Pan-Asian cuisine, with a wide array of different foods from all over Asia. The downtown location is great if you happen to work or live near there, as it has become a staple in that area for quick and fresh Asian cuisine at a reasonable price. I however live on the east side of Orlando, and unless I ask my wife to bring me something home, it’s a bit out of the way. That is why I am very happy to share with you my most recent review of the all new Bento Cafe UCF. Yes you heard right...Bento has a brand new location in the Plaza at University, and the food is just as awesome as it is at any other location.

The Bento Cafe brand, If you are not familiar with them, is a small chain of seven restaurants with more on the way, that offers a creative mixture of Asian inspired dishes from wok stir-fry to fire-grilled items to sushi using the finest Asian spices and the freshest ingredients all at great prices.<br/><br/>The concept at Bento is to bring unique and authentic Asian food in a fast and efficient manner. Everything on the menu is cooked to order and prepared in minutes and served up in an atmosphere that is fun, friendly and stylish. The word “Bento” means boxed-meal in Japanese, and they have a wide selection of traditional boxed meals, but the menu includes a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri and chirashi bowls as well as soups, udon noodles, rice bowls and noodle bowls. They also offer Boba Tea, a popular Asian beverage that is consisted of milk tea and chewy tapioca pearls.<br/><br/>Every store is designed differently which makes visiting each Bento Cafe an experience. Each store will be either dominated by the warm red dragon colors or the cool blue dragon colors. Each Bento has a sushi station, but the UCF location has seats at the sushi bar, so you can watch the chefs prepare your rolls live and in person. <br/><br/>Speaking of sushi, the Jade roll with marinated spicy tuna, eel, avocado, krab delite, masago, scallions and eel sauce tasted just as good as it looked. <br/><br/>For my entree, I chose the the Sesame Wok Stir Fry bowl. This dish comes with your choice of chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu and red bell peppers, snow peas, onions, baby corn in a sesame soy sauce. I really enjoyed the flavors, and the portion was more than I could eat. <br/><br/>Now, I really did enjoy my entree selection, but it would be dishonest of me not to tell you that I was really jealous of my wife’s Bento Box. She opted for the Sriracha Garlic Chicken in a bento box. You can get chicken, shrimp or tofu grilled or fried with red bell peppers and onions with a sweet and spicy Sriracha sauce for dipping. Bento boxes come with your choice of steamed rice or lo mein, ginger salad, and string beans and a dessert

Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi has finally opened this week at the UCF / University location. This is their 7th location in Florida, with other Bentos in Gainesville and Jacksonville. Bento Cafe was founded in Gainesville 13 years ago by University of Florida alumni Jimmy Tung, Johnny Tung and David Yu. This is the third location in Orlando, following the debut of Bento at the Plaza downtown and on Sand Lake Road. The restaurant features entrees, such as Bento Boxes and noodle and rice bowls, alongside sushi options including sashimi, vegetarian or classical sushi varieties, with most of the dishes in the $7 to $9 range. There is also a full bar at this location. Some of my favorite dishes at Bento Cafe include the Chirashi sushi bowl, Spicy Korean chicken, teriyaki chicken, and the Cantonese pork chop. While in college, Bento Cafe was actually one of the first places where I tried many of the various cuisines from Asia for the very first time, at a very college budget friendly price. For that, I am forever grateful to them for opening up the doors to Asian cuisine, not only to me, but to thousands of college students around Florida. We’ll be updating this post as more information comes in.
