Delicious, organic, no preservatives, great pricing, very homey feeling. Came here because we found it on urban spoon and its absolutely worth it. Were visiting and went to universal studios. Awesome way to dine on vacation.
Great pizza. This place has the best NY style pizza around. We went a week ago and couldn't believe how close it was to the pizza you get in NYC, you just don't find that anywhere around Orlando. The calzone was awesome and enough for 2 to share. We also had the shrimp scampi over pasta, tasted just like homemade, delicious! We will definitely be returning.
THE best gluten free pizza I have had. He makes his own dough every day and takes all the precautions for celiac sufferers! He's an amazing guy! Everyone should support him!
Great Pizza, Thank God!. I recently was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. What a pain in the **s to change my diet at 37 years old and re learn how to eat. Pizza was one of my biggest losses until I found Papa D restaurant in Dr. Phillips area. The pie is a good size and priced around $10. Tastes great! I would gladly pay for someone else to go through the pain of buying and mixing ingredients just right to get this dough.
Buy the Slice!. Most of the big name pizza places don't sell by the slice and it's tough to find a place that will for a good price while still delivering on flavor. Scalini's is one of those places. The pizza and sauce are hand made and you can taste it. It's good. Really good. It's New York style good, with the big floppy pieces I can fold in half and eat like a taco. I love their lunch deals, and they have Canolis. Canolis are some of the best deserts ever.
And though I don't need it personally, I also appreciate that they have really made an effort to present Gluten free items on their menu. It's something a small pizza joint doesn't have to do and the fact that Scalini's has is what sets them apart as a company that truly values catering to all customers.
You seat yourself table service in this small restaurant. The server will greet and come to your table very quickly. Service was very friendly. Food was delicious. The building is dated, but it is a strip mall, not their fault. It was clean. We had the garlic cheese bread, chicken Parmesan lunch special and a 16”pizza. Way more than enough for three people, we left with to go boxes, but we wanted to try a variety.
Came in for a late lunch early dinner. The place is very quaint and clean. The service is outstanding. Our server was really nice and attentive even though she was busy. The NY style pizza was really good, just a bit undercooked in the middle, but the flavor was there. Pasta looked delicious, salad was fresh and crispy and their garlic knots were fluffy and fresh.
Everything was so delicious and the best service EVER 🤩 the perfect combination. If you want to have a good time with your family you must come. The taste of the food is soooo YUMMY!!!
This place is amazing, I felt like in Italy. Traditional Italian family atmosphere. I had garlic bread and marinara sauce, chicken wings (delicious) and hawaian pizza XL for family of 4. The staff was incredible and prices are great. I strongly recommend this place, please come and enjoy it.
They were kind enough to squeeze us in just before closing time. Staff were super friendly and the pizza was great. They cater for gluten free requirements and my partner loved the gf pizza!

When in a mood for a piping hot slice of cheese pizza, this is my go-to. The pizza slices are always hot and fresh. Service is quick and efficient. A quick pick-me-up when I feel hungry for a snack.
Old school pizza cafe casual ambiance , but fantastic service and great wine pours. My friend and I had a great time on our impromptu Thursday night dinner here. We got a pizza and chicken parm to split. Will come again.

Ordered the lunch special, two slices (1) cheese and (1) pepperoni and a drink for $8.99. Split the slices in half and shared with my 6 y/o. Food was great and we both were full. Sure you can eat 5 slices and call it a day but I don’t each much to begin with. It was more than fine for us both.
