The Hammered Lamb

11/21/2023 Always a fun time with good food and drinks. Meet up with an old friend... Not that he is old in age... But like longevity of friendship. Our sandwiches were good and a nice IPA to set off the conversation, good times. 7/24/2022 Had a nice little brunch on my own today with a tasty mimosa and club sandwich. Two trains went by for which they give a free shot though i didn't partake. I really enjoy it there. On my Middle Class Monotony (MCM) scale (0-5 where 0 is NOT cheap or monotonous and 5 being very cheap and monotonous): I give it 3 MCM because though it's a place I can make a habit of going, i would spend to much per month there. So I keep it a special treat from time to time. Original Post Fun little place with ping pong and beer. Had a fun time.

A truly lovely spot in Orlando! The food was FANTASTIC the Mediterranean appetizer was AMAZING, and the club was so good! We met some friends for a nice afternoon lunch and catch-up, and the bartender was incredibly friendly, brought us free and super tasty shots whenever the train went by, and kept our drinks cold and filled. I really can't say enough about this gem of a place it's in a quiet little tucked-away corner with a nice breeze and inclusive decor felt so at home here would highly recommend it for a nice afternoon spot!

Went there for brunch, and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible and our server was absolutely fantastic. When they say they have the best rated Bloody Mary and Orlando, they are definitely not kidding, the options you have to craft your designer Bloody Mary are ridiculous. And just hope the train pulls by, free shots for everyone.

This a lively pub that serves some food as well. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. Every time a train passes by, they sit on the railroad tracks, they give out free shots. The food we had was tasty we had a fried chicken sandwich and a gyro. There’s a very large covered outdoor patio with a large bar are as well as an indoor part with ping pong tables. We came here for an Orlando City SC watch party here, it was a good time. I’ll definitely be back!

Time to update this review. It's been six years. I loved the Hammered Lamb back then, and I still love the Hammered Lamb. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Ivanhoe Village. The ambiance is also perfect, b-e-a-utiful outdoor patio with huge TV's and a nice view of the park across the street. The service is also also perfect. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were friendly, personable, attentive, just lovely. We came here one Saturday to watch the Orlando City game. We got there, pulled up to the bar, and had a seat. Then the drinks and food started flowing. We started off with the Swamp Dip (Shredded chicken, blended cheeses, IPA, chicken, pico, buffalo drizzle, crostinis). This was a lot. But in a good way. Basically buffalo chicken dip, with some beer, topped with pico. Very interesting, but very delicious. And my favorite, plenty of bread for the smothering and dipping. Yum! Later on, I ordered the Tuscan Lamb Pizza (Crispy thin cauliflower crust, fresh mint pesto, minced lamb, red onion, goat cheese, sprinkled with mint and chili pepper flakes). Whoa! This thing took me by surprise. The crust was banging. You cannot tell this thing is cauliflower. All you can tell is that it is hearty and crisp and delicious. There is also a Ton of lamb on this puppy, so you're gonna get a lot of bang for the buck, so good. Accented with the mint pesto, classic pairing, the bite of the red onion, and held altogether with that gooey, tangy goat cheese, this pizza was just wow. I recommend. I really just continue to recommend this place as a whole. It's got great food, great drinks, great service and atmosphere, great everything. Prepare yourself for train shots, and come on in.
