Great seafood experience...Must be willing to wait up to 45 minutes for your food, but you won't be disappointed. Many locals frequent Karen's and the gentleman we spoke to said "outside of New Orleans, this is the best seafood he's eaten". After eating at Karen's, I agree... (Jan 2019)
Visited Karen's again this week, 1 year later than above review...(Feb 2020) Still fantastic food! Since it's cooked fresh must be willing to wait at least 30 minutes, but the wait is worth it...

Omg the food was amazing, particularly the fried shrimp. I eat seafood all the time but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I enjoyed my drink as well. The clams were good but on the salty side. Next time I’m in Orlando, I’m def stopping by.

First impression: Good service, good food.. the evening I went, wait time for food was about an hour. Great thing was we were told that before placing the order. Ordered #206. I enjoyed my meal.

The food was absolutely delicious. I found this place on Yelp and the reviews said there was a long wait, but we waited about 20 minutes for our food. The staff was very friendly. I will be returning next time I am in town.

Came for the stone crabs, the staff were great, especially the host/bartender/carry out cashier- didn't get his name but he was courteous and attentive. Will come back and try the other sea food offerings. Trinidadian influences in their preparation.

The #206 with snow crabs, shrimp, corn and potatoes was awesome we order ahead and picked up the food. Everything was ready. We were feeding an army got the seafood rice and Dungeon crab legs. They cook it in butter and seasoning. It was delicious.

Pretty good, but holy Toledo it’s messy. Other than the shell crushing thing, they don’t give you any other tools - the little folk for crab would have been especially useful at times. Also, didn’t expect a $70 bill for 2 people to eat off styrofoam plates and with plastic forks, but it was pretty tasty. This place seems to me like a fast food place, but with sit down restaurant pricing.

Came here after leaving an appointment one evening. Needed to pick up some food to go. The place was empty except for two other patrons. The guy behind the bar taking my order was helpful. The staff overall was helpful:) I ordered a margarita with top shelf patron it came out perfectly. It was not on the specially priced cocktails list but it was worth it. The food was seasoned well and the butter sauce was flavorful. The fried oysters were piping hot in the center - a sign that this was fresh- Loved it. As I was sitting there eating my hot appetizers I did see a number of people come in and out. I see why. Good service and good food.

Some of the best seafood I've had in a long time! Crab and shrimp were both cooked perfectly! Wait for food was not long and well worth the wait it did take! Highly recommend!!

I must just say that the 25 minute drive is well worth the wait. I haven’t been in a long time, so Today when my daughter and I drove up I was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, and the best seafood that I have tried since living here in Orlando, Florida. Yesssssssss for this delicious seafood place. ��

I am only giving it 4 stars because there was not lemon or sausage in the boil...almost the best crab and shrimp...2 more simply ingredients and it would be the best dining experience in Orlando! Certainly worth a visit!!

In town from Atlanta for Spring Break. We had a large party. We were warned before being seated that the wait would be at least an hour for food. It was worth it. Steamed Crab legs, shrimp, oysters, potatoes and corn! Delish!

The food is AMAZING the staff is exceptional and the atmosphere is casual. I do not live anywhere close to here however anytime I go back to Orlando I will be back. For the folks saying it takes to long after you order... go through Taco Bell.. shit food is served quick, great food it made to order. I love this place and am so glad we tried it. See you all in June!

The staff are friendly but a little forgetful. We ordered the #400 with 1/2lb if sausage and waited 30-40 mins but they forgot the shrimp that come with the order. They brought them out rather quickly. The drinks are really strong. The seafood is really good but don’t expect to count calories on this trip, everything was in a delicious butter sauce. They don’t provide wet ones, or bibs. You have to get your own water from the soda machine. Overall, if you looking for a good quality meal without all the fuss this is the place to go. We will be going back.
