Lava Lounge

Stopped in for a bit of food and a beer and have to admit we loved it. Shared the Iggy Piggy sandwich and would, without question, have it again. In addition to the fries we grabbed a side of the chips and they were perfect alongside the sandwich. Beer was good but, as usual, hindered slightly by the plastic "glass". Service was great and a lovely view over the water

Tucked away on the waterside, to the left of the often long check-in line to Rainforest Cafe, you will find the frequently overlooked Lava Lounge. Bar and hi-top table seating, all with wonderful views of the water and Disney Springs. Relatively calm and relaxing atmosphere compared to the happy mayhem inside the RC. Same menu. Recommended.

We loved everything about Lava Lounge. The view of Disney Springs is awesome, right on the water's edge. Alla and Samantha did an amazing job taking care of everyone. Our drinks were delicious and we loved the dish we chose. Awesome Appetizer Adventure - Chimi-Cha-Chas, Spinach & Artichoke, Cheese Sticks, Chicken Strips. Hubby and I shared it but we could have easily taken half home with us. So much food. Next time we are in the area, we will be back.

When we arrived, our party of seven was seated at a table on the patio. While looking over the menu, we noticed an absurd amount of gnats over of table. More than anyone would be comfortable eating under. A couple of us went back to ask the host, Donny, about another table and how long the wait would be because we understood that they were short staffed. He explained to us that this happens with the gnats around dusk and they disappear at night. We were honestly ready to leave but Donny made it happen for us and got us seated at another table, promptly. Thank you for exemplifying good customer service and showing concern for our concerns, Donny. We truly appreciate you! 🧡 My food was AMAZING. I ordered the Ancient Grain Bowl, and it did not disappoint. It was so flavorful and filling. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, please give this bowl a try! Often, I am disappointed with the lack of options for meatless dinners but this exceeded any expectations. Not only was it delicious but the serving size was perfect. I could honestly eat it every single day.
