Tamarind Indian Cuisine

We have been here several times and it's consistently great. Whole it may not look like much from the outside, the dining room is aesthetically pleasing and very clean. The service is prompt, friendly, and patiently accommodating to newcomers of Indian cuisine. The food comes out quickly for a full-service eatery and is piping hot! Highly recommended!

Consistently good. I've been here many times now over the last 5 years. Buffet always has good options. Nothing is ever bad. Buffet is affordable. Menu choices are even better. Cooks are versatile and will cook just about anything you request if they have the ingredients. Staff is also consistent and very friendly. Environs are clean and comfortable. Update 8/8/19: LOVE the new veggie momo dumplings!! Fastastic! Steamed veggies with spices wrapped in a wheat dumpling skin smothered in tikka masala sauce and grilled... :)

I am eating here now and I have to say I'm very impressed here. Definitely cleaner than some of the other Indian buffet restaurants. There isn't at many options as some other places I've been to, but those places also didn't put out the best quality. I've tried almost everything and I've not been disappointed yet. Staff is very friendly also. I will come back if they keep up the level of quality. The other issue I have with other Indian restaurants is that they make everything spicey beyond logic. Your average person doesn't want to deal with that spice especially if they need to be at work after. No one wants to spend time in the bathroom for hours because theyre stomach is on fire. This place managed to have a decent amount of spice without overwhelming the food.

This place is truly a diamond in the rough. I went here during lunch for the lunch buffet. Don't let the outside of the building dissuade you from coming in. The place is very clean and the restaurant staff is very welcoming. The items in the buffet are very good and fresh. They bring out freshly made Naan to your table. I will come back!!

We love coming to Tamarind. We missed good Indian food when we moved to Orlando, so we were happy to find a good Indian restaurant!, and one that has Dosa! The price is a little on the high side, but it doesn’t keep us from coming every couple of months. The staff is friendly, but most importantly the food is delicious.
