Some of the kindest staff members work here and really helped us as downtown food options were closing all around. I returned a second day during happy hour and loved the quality of the food, the prices and the great decor. I used to live in Orlando and live in LA now and its nice to return and see these kind of places here and thriving. Thank you

We just happened upon this restaurant. Honestly, by accident. We were having dinner before a performance of My Fair Lady. This was the Perfect "accident". We ordered a sushi appetizer, some sushi rolls, and a bottle of wine. Everything we had was excellent. The service was great! I will definitely come back again. Forgive the photo of the app, we dug in before taking the picture. It was phenomenal (probably the best thing we ordered)!

This was the best sushi place in DT Orlando! I'm a big advocate for supporting hidden gems in any city I stay in and coming back to Orlando, I'm shocked by how affordable but high quality the food was here. There were a ton of options to choose from and the tuna, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi (my must have at any sushi restaurant) were very fresh. The eel and sweet shrimp were my favorite though, I'd definitely come back for that. The service was incredible and so friendly. Our server Brian was knowledgeable and even recommended our party a sake to specifically pair with our sushi. We had such a wonderful experience, if you're ever in the Orlando area I highly recommend checking Shakai out!!!!!!!!

My favorite sushi bar in town and only 50 ft from my house. Happy Hour Sushi from 5pm to 7pm EVERY DAY. $4 wines... $4 & $6 sushi rolls and $4 appetizers. Try the steamed Gyoza and the Krab and Cucumber salad. Everything there is top-notch. I've never eaten there when it was not Happy Hour but I know the prices are at least double after this time.
