Review Christo's Cafe - Orlando

Sarah Baca
Mt partner and I came here for breakfast and the food was a spiritual experience. The Christo's French toast was one of the most delicious breakfast foods I think I've ever had. I loved my omelette and the has browns were crispy perfection. I got it with a biscuit that was grilled in butter and soft, crumbly, and crispy on the edges. I'm drooling just thinking about it!

I like small little restaurants that the locals only know about. This is that. The service was great and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back

During my recent visit, I was delighted by the warm ambiance, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. The smaller size of the cafe indeed contributes to its cozy charm, making it a perfect place to savor a delicious breakfast while feeling right at home. The breakfast portions at Christos Cafe are sizable, and the quality remains consistently top-notch. Their menu caters to various preferences, offering a delightful array of classic breakfast options and unique specialties. Whether you opt for the pancakes or their signature omelets, the flavors and portion sizes are truly satisfying. They have seasonal takes on different items as well. The staff is so friendly! Their welcoming and attentive nature only adds to the overall pleasant experience. Christos Cafe may be smaller in size, but its cozy atmosphere, coupled with hearty portions and a friendly staff, make it an absolute gem. I look forward to coming back here!

Great little place for breakfast. The French Toast is fried (I think) which was a little different, but very good. Try the pancakes!

Christo's Café has been a gem of a find for me. As a person who enjoys sitting at a breakfast bar and unwinding for a bit, this place has not disappointed. First, the customer service has been very gracious and consistent. I've not had a single bad experience. They are quick to welcome you, everyone says hello and there are smiles a plenty. The food has also been a very pleasant surprise. Since going there, I've had the western omelette, the Greek omelette, the Philly cheese omelette, the Reuben and the general breakfast plate. Again, like the customer service, the food is consistently good. If I had to give a recommendation, it would be the Greek omelette. There is a ton of flavor. However, the menu is huge and has plenty to choose from. They also have specials that they change routinely to give you something different each time you go. I will say, I wasn't a huge fan of the Philly omelette as it was a rather simple omelette. The environment is very peaceful despite being fast paced. What I like most about the restaurant, sitting at the bar, I see and hear the interactions of the employees, management, kitchen and customers. There is very little friction noticeable to the customer. Everyone does what they need to do and the staff really seems to embody the customer service mentality, making this place a great go to for your general breakfasts. The restaurant itself is not overly big but is bigger than it looks once inside. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. It is wheelchair accessible, especially the outside. The parking can be a challenge, even when they aren't busy so you may have to find street parking. I will say, it is not very business friendly, as it doesn't have much offer individuals to get computer work done. On the weekends, that's probably by design. But on the weekdays when it's less busy, this would be a nice perk. Overall, the is a great little cafe that has given me exceptional experiences so far. Definitely my favorite breakfast cafe in the area.

First time visit today after driving past it a few times. This diner is very small with about 11 tables, counter seating and tables on the covered patio. Today we ordered an appetizer of corn Nuggets which were plentiful and crisp just right. We ordered a Cuban melt with sweet potato fries, a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a pick two with a half tuna sandwich, cup of vegetable barley soup and a side of onion rings. Portion sizes are more than ample and we are all three taking home leftovers. The bacon cheeseburger is thick and the bacon is really really flavorful. The burger itself needed condiments for flavor. Service is friendly and as attentive as we wanted it to be. We dined around noon on a Wednesday and the restaurant is pretty busy. This diner is recommended if you are in the area.

Excellent little diner on Edgewater and Dartmouth (College Park). I've seen this place on weekend mornings and it's packed. My nephew and I dropped by one day (a Thursday morning around 9am) and there were plenty of seats, but it still felt like business was good and it wasn't dead. The food is very good quality (for diner food mind you). We ordered 2 dishes and sides, and I can't think of a single thing that we didn't like. The Lemon Chicken Orzo was very good. It's like an Avgolemono soup, but I think better with the orzo and no egg. Amazingly, for College Park, the prices at this place are very affordable as well. The place was also cleaner than most other diners I've been to, and didn't feel greasy in any way. This place reminds of the many great Greek diners in NJ. Another reviewer on here mentioned that the dumpsters outside smelled horrible. I did not notice this at all, so I suspect that that problem is occasional and only noticeable if you sit outside. Also IMNSHO, I just think it's kind of weird to complain about a smelly dumpster, as I believe they all are, and so that is not something to mention in a review of a restaurant.
