There is a little pizza place close to downtown Orlando, on South Orange Avenue, if you drive too quickly by you are sure to pass it. The place is called Brick and Fire, it is my favorite sit down pizza spot! If you haven't been there, you seriously don't know what you're missing. They make all their delicious dough and mozzarella in house and I can definitely taste the difference that makes. One of my favorite things about this place is that they have amazing lunch specials that INCLUDE THE WEEKEND!!!!
The Milano pizza was excellent. It provided a nice mix of ingredients but not overpowering. Delivery to my hotel was expeditious. Good value too.

Excellent pizza and gluten-free! 4 stars
Went here on a Sunday afternoon after looking for some gluten-free pizza places in the Sodo area. There are lots of different types of pizza here and it is moderately priced. The restaurant is cozy inside though a little dark and could be a little cleaner. We asked for a seat by a window because it was so dark, but when we moved we realized the drapes were dirty. Regardless, the service from Sam our waitress was very good and we enjoyed our pizzas. My wife got a gluten-free chicken club pizza and I got an entree sized (small) Brick and Fire regular pizza. Both of us took home a little less than half a pizza so the portions are decent sized. You definitely only need a small if you aren't splitting it. There's plenty of parking but it's not the easiest to see from the street, but Google Maps gave a good picture of what to expect for the outside of the restaurant. I would recommend this place, even without gluten restrictions and much more so with them, and plan to go here again

Really Good Pizza. I came across the good fortune of having someone pick this up for my wife and I while we were at the hospital across the street.
We had a roasted veggie pizza which had eggplant, roasted red peppers, red onions covered with feta cheese with a garlic olive oil base. The flavor was outstanding and the crust (not too thick or not too thin) was baked until it was a beautiful golden color.

Brick and Fire on Orange Ave, use to be downtown on Church Street. It was tasty, but a pain in the ^%(&($# to get to. No parking, long walk, homeless people and drunks to bother you along the way. But now they have parking are in a safe area and the food is still good. Actually the food is real good. They serve "brick oven style" pizza and past and I have not had a bad meal their yet. They do a lot for local schools and charities and they have really integrated themselves into the South Orlando Community. They have a Pizza Hut, Flippers and Cornerstone Pizza Places and Lido's, which is a real family style Italian sit down establishment in South Downtown, but not really a Pizza/Pasta destination. Brick and Fire Pizza and Pasta Parlor fill that role. Located in a old Pizza Hut, that was converted from a Moe's B&F did a good job sprucing up the place. The pizza are tasty and crispy, this is not a NY or Chicago Pizza Joint, but if you like your pizza with the bubbles and crisp, this is a great place. Everything is affordable too, I don't know how they do it with the ingredients they use. Most pasta dishes including shrimp or clams (loaded with clams) are under $13.00. Personal 8' pizza's start at $8. They have some nice appetizers and offer beer and wine, but all you need is Peroni. I like Brick and Fire and they seem to be pretty steady, so I hope to have them along for a while. So try them, I believe Brick and Fire gives you a lot of bang for your buck.
Specialty pies. We have had two of them and B & F is now our favorite pizza parlor!
I have to admit, I didn't know what to expect reading the reviews. That prompted me to write one. I really enjoyed the four mushroom pizza. Food came out in about 4 minutes. Came with a side of very fresh parmesan cheese - nice touch. This particular pizza had an oily Italian taste which I thought was great, and a pesto sauce drizzle (one other place which comes to mind would charge for it). The crust was light and perfect. Only question , where's the brick? Had to be one since the pizza was cooked so fast.
Had a side salad with caper lemon vinaigrette, 8" parmesan flatbread, and an 8" milano pizza. The dressing on the salad was very tasty. Very good bread. I've had better, but this was tasty. Delicious pizza - excellent crust, yummy toppings, rich sauce. Perfect portions - we left pleasantly full but not stuffed. Reasonable prices. Great service. Overall, a great visit. We'll be back.
A favorite for our office to go for luncheons. Great food, great atmosphere, awesome customer service.
YALL do not sleep on Brick and Fire Pizza!! Not only is the food top notch, the hospitality and customer service is BAR NONE. Chicken parmigiana is magnifico and the manager/owner (I’m assuming) is a hard worker and team player! Good job and I’ll be a loyal customer from here on out! Keep up the GREAT WORK!
Top notch food. Clean place. Awesome atmosphere. They were willing to create a custom pizza for me. 🍕 Shrimp scampi pizza with no EVOO and added truffle oil. 🍤 Worth every penny! Husband had the angry shrimp pizza. Really great food and kind people. Our son got to play with raw dough too. Didn't know that was a thing but he had fun! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's a little hard to judge atmosphere as there was a 10 yr old kid party going on and boys were running around. Great menu, specialty pizzas are unique. I got a 10" to go with arugula on it. She put the arugula in a separate container so it and the pizza would both stay fresh. Nice chewy but not thick crust. Very good.
Kellie took real good care of my customers and myself. She was very attentive and friendly.
Jimmy knows how to toss a pizza pie crust. The kitchen is an open area allowing all to see his creations.
The pizza was crazy good. I highly recommend this pizza place 😋 I will be going back to entertain other clients.

My sister said her chicken alfredo pasta wasn’t drowning in sauce yet perfect.
I ordered a medium vegetable pesto pizza and added pepperoni. It was very good and perfect to share for 2-3 people.
The cup of clam chowder soup was a perfect size and also very tasty.

First time here and the service was a bit slow, but they had a sign saying this. No big deal. The pizza was A-1 delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs was a watery mess to the point that the small bits of tomatoes stayed at the top and the watery paste was at the bottom of my dish. So, I will be back but will not order spaghetti and meatballs again. Like that it’s a veteran owned business.

Love this little pizza place! Staff was so nice and friendly. They even went above and beyond with getting us lemons for our water and fixing a pizza that they got wrong. Highly recommended!!
Just got back from Cancun, saw this place on a whim. Didn’t read any reviews and was praying they wouldn’t disappoint. Unfortunately, we were so hungry, I didn’t even think to snap photos but here’s how it went:
Caesar salad- amazing
Gasean salad- super fresh ingredients! Excellent
Pepperoni pizza- perfect
Chicken Alfredo- delicious
The host was also our waitress, pleasant, timely service with a smile!
When in the Orlando/airport area- will most definitely be back!
