This restaurant has great food with many Vegan options to choose from. I had the vegan duck with steamed veggies and rice the appetizer was spring rolls with peanut sauce for dipping. The price was awesome only 10 dollars and the service was quick and professional the atmosphere was awesome and relaxing. Near the Fashion Square mall it has a great location I highly recommended this place. Cinco Estrellas 2 thumbs up

Menu has a wide selection of both Southern and Northern Vietnamese dishes. We had Gỏi Cuốn (Summer Rolls-the name is swapped on their menu), Bún Bò Huế (spicy beef soup) and the Lạc Việt Noodle (house special). The summer rolls were very good. The spicy beef was authentic and not as spicy as some of the other restaurants in Mills 50. The house special was just OK. Overall good food, more expensive than other neighboring Vietnamese restaurants.

The restaurant is beautiful; the staffs are very nice and polite; the food was good. I recommend Papaya Salad and don't recommend Hue Beef Noodle Soup (Bun Bo Hue).

Such a great experience in Lac Viet Bistro, I ordered spring rolls for appetizers, Thai spicy bun with sea food and duck in basil sauce, the dishes came with A LOT of topings and meat. Seafood were really fresh, Seasoning was awesome and not too much on the sweet side, plus, the staff was really attentive on our request of putting less sauce on the duck (see the check). At the end, the owner kindly provided me with a popular snack in Vietnam: mango shaken in sweet fish sauce, I think they’ll put the dish on menu soon. I like how they put mint together with the mango, the mint clears out the fish sauce after taste and I freely kiss my love after we left the restaurant together :)) Such a fancy creation. Their avocado smoothie is amazing, please have a try and you wont be dissapointed. Thank you for everything and you deserve highest recommendation!

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant for sure. The grilled whole fish in which you can make spring rolls out of is highly recommended. Where else can you get a whole fish beside the typical traditional pho?

Great place for traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Unfortunately, our favorite place is no longer exist. It is now The King Crab Shack Cajun food restaurant. 😟😟😟

Great food, one of the best pho in town. Outside seating is good as well, especially during the colder season. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only reason for 4 stars is the bathroom and interior seems to be a little bit old and not well maintained. Food was cooked to perfection as well as generous portions. Will definitely come back and worth the drive there.

Server was very nice, we received our drinks quickly and our egg rolls followed shortly after. The main meal took a little longer but after a ten minute wait all meals came and were hot and yummy. The large bowl of pho was big and very filling. Overall the visit was a good one.

I have lived in Orlando the better part of 20 years and visited Lac Viet Bistro for the very first time a few days ago. I wish I hadn't overlooked it for so long! The food is very good. The staff very welcoming and it is just a very pleasant experience overall. If you have not stopped by for a meal you really should. I suspect you'll end up a repeat customer.

My husband and I have been coming to Lac Viet consistently since it opened around 15 years ago. The quality has been superlatively amazingly consistent. In all that time, the service is generally prompt with nice friendly smiles. We always feel welcome here with our children. The cuisine is expertly executed and the presentation flawless. My favorite is the Tum Yum soup, while my husband adores the Beef Stew. While Tum Yum is considered a Thai dish, Lac Viet are geniuses in its preparation. My 18 year old has eaten here since she was 3, she now is a huge fan of Lac Viet. I can tell you this business is good to families. Unlike hipster hangouts, you're never to made to feel guilty for breeding. Extra plates, high chairs, and boosters are never a problem. In addition, the dining space is open, inviting, while the walls are covered with lovely traditional art. Did I mention the Tamarind Beef appetizer? Your mouth will swear it died and went to heaven. Of course there is a wonderful selection of vegetarian havings. They take reservations for large parties, have a private dining room for these and also make a romantic setting for a date night. You can't go wrong with Lac Viet.

We ordered about six dishes for the three of us and shared. Everything was delicious. The weather was mild, so we could sit outside under an almost full moon. I ordered the vegetarian phô with a side dish of fresh basil, sprouts and jalapeño pepper slices plus crispy tofu, and I shared vegetable fried rice. The service was attentive. The large menu provides many choices.

I only go here for the family style dishes. Had a positive experience here with a party of 5. We had make your own roll platter, sweet and sour soup, braised park, and vegetarian curry. The sweet and sour soup was the best. The rolls were great too. The braised pork was 3/5 because they didn't use thick cuts. The curry was disgusting though. It had too much tumeric or something that was medicine like. Only one person thought it was okay. I hated the curry.

Unique dishes I've never had before. Great service and enough to take home for dinner for two. We had PHO, a crispy appetizer think it was the #6 which the waiter recommended and a crispy noodle beef dish. All tasty and different.

Still the best Vietnamese restaurant IMHO. The owners work very hard to make sure Lac Viet upholds its reputation - you can meet at least one person from their family there daily. I still prefer the peanut sauce at Little Saigon, but everything else here just tastes better and more fresh. You have to admire the shear amount of authentic and unique dishes they serve here. The noodle soups are not drenched in MSG (like most other places believe it or not - don't let those "No MSG" signs fool you). The food here is simply fresh and very good. The only thing I ate here that I wasn't satisfied with was the whole fried fish (but I'm picky and I've eaten it in Beijing at a prestigious restaurant and it was unbelievably good).
