Lake House

We were at a family wedding and were invited here for breakfast with the family. It is a lovely venue and the breakfast choices are very varied, including ordering hot options from the cooks. It was extremely enjoyable. I would just mention that there are a lot of stairs to go up or down so if people have difficulty with stairs it might be a problem. I did not see an elevator.

My family had the pleasure to visit LakeHouse for breakfast and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile by our waitress, Dasilia. Dasilia's exceptional service truly made our breakfast experience memorable. She made each one of us feel valued and appreciated. Despite the restaurant being busy, she managed to make each interaction personal and engaging. She took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making us feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer. In addition to her exceptional service, the food was delicious. The open buffet had a wide variety of options. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the presentation was visually appealing.

We sat at the bar and we had Brian. He was a terrific bartender. Incredibly fast, great energy, honest recommendations, and a fun atmosphere. He was super busy but instead of complaining, he was excited for it. He created a great experience for us visiting from out of town. I had a Japanese Pilsner and it was delicious. Recommended by Brian. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. It was outstanding as well as the fries. Great place overall.

Dinner Magical Dining. The restaurant is bright, clean. The lake views are relaxing. This is more of an eatery at a resort vs a restaurant in my opinion. The atmosphere was more tourists coming in to eat. Then go do something else. The service was good, not much attention. It was loud at times as people were enjoying the bar area and seating. Being a n open restaurant with high ceilings sound travels. The food was very good. I had the chowder. It was creamy and sweet with a few small pieces of chewy shrimp. The salad of Florida greens was delicious. Braised short ribs were very tender and spiced well on top of mashed potato and spinach with Demi-glacé. Dessert was a cheese cake. I had the blondie which was very good served with ice cream. If I was staying at the resort, I would know I had a good place to come back to eat after the parks. If you are looking for the experience of dining, Sorry few photos. Great company. This might not be the place. It is the place for really good food.

Every dish we had was incredible! I think I was blown away by the size of the ravioli the most. We have been guest at the Hyatt for many years. We never got to try the previous restaurant but always heard great things about it, but Tim, a Hyatt team member raves about this place and said we just had to check it out. We had a reservation late at night so it was not busy. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, we had a seat overlooking the pool. My only complaint was that the server was not attentive. Literally gone for long periods of time but it didn’t take away from the food and restaurant experience too much.
