Every time we visit WDW I want to try the raved-about cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. Unfortunately, the line at the Disney Springs location is always very long and intimidating so we skip it. This year we decided to drive to the East End Market location, which was a great plan because there was NO LINE. We purchased the Original Chocolate Chip, Triple Chocolate Chip, Banana Bread Chocolate Chip, and Cookies & Cream cookies. These cookies are big and thick - as Gideon says, around a half-pound each. They had a great texture, were soft, and bursting with flavor, as cookies should be. We didn't find any of the flavors to be overpowering, everything complimented each other. All the cookies we tried were VERY DELICIOUS and completely worth the purchase. We loved them all, but our absolute favorite was the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip. It was AMAZING! These cookies are worth the hype and the next time we are back in WDW we will be hitting up Gideon's Bakehouse again! They do not disappoint!!

Shocked that this place doesn't get 5 stars across the board. I read through a bunch of the 1 star reviews and none of them made sense to me. Granted I don't go here on weekends but there's never been a crazy wait. Compare that to the wait at Disney Springs which is always crazy. The cookies are consistently amazing. Been coming to this location since 2020 and it's always been consistent. These cookies are certainly different so I guess they won't appeal to every last person but I don't see how that deserves a 1 star review. If this place was brand new, you could dismiss it as a fad but it's been around for a while now and it's still crazy popular. This shows it's the real deal. Yeah they're expensive but they're so big you probably won't (or shouldn't) eat it all at once so it's more like getting 3 cookies. Looking at it that way, the price makes sense. If you haven't tried these cookies yet, go for it and see for yourself what all the hype is about.

Chocolate yumminess!! A great place to try these cookies, we were so impressed we went to the one at Disney springs but the queue there was madness! I can see why, but we will come back here for our Goodies! Selection of other local producers too in this market shop! Perfect!

So I'm a big fan of Gideon's Bakehouse and have frequented their Disney Springs location quite a few times, so I was really eager to try out their location near Downtown Orlando. I'll be very honest: the cookies here are equally as good, but the whole experience is nowhere as good. Yes, the service here is phenomenal, the staff are all great, but you just don't get the full vibe you would get at their Disney Springs location. Another thing that's lacking here is the cold brew which I absolutely love at their Disney Springs location. I completely understand why they don't sell their cold brews here, but I still think it's a down side to visiting this location. Overall, if you're strictly coming for the cookies then you'll still get that fix here, but if you want to experience all things Gideon's, I'd still recommend visiting the Disney Springs location.

A hotel guest recommended this spot to me after she mentioned that she grabs a few when she's passing through the area 😄 As a cookie lover, I had to try it out, and it did not disappoint. I had the Pistachio Chocolate Chip Cookie, and it was perfect. A mixture of sweet and salty, yum!

We wanted to see what all the hype was about on these giant cookies so we drove out to Orlando to their other location. You don't have to wait in a virtual queue or lineup for hours like at Disney Springs to try these cookies. You can also order in advance online. There was no line when we went. Plenty of seating outside to eat. The location is nicely decorated and their packaging is so cute. Overall, the cookies were just okay. It was not too sweet which was surprising by how many chips were on it but the middle was too soft for us like a raw cookie dough texture. the edges of the cookies tasted better as it was the right ratio of cookie to topping.

5 hr wait at Disney Springs or drive 30min, walk in, order, walk out & enjoy! Chocolate chip, Frankenstein & Bride of were all amazing!! Definitely worth the trip if your in Orlando!! Enjoying "Bride of" right now & after 3 days it's still soft & enjoyable. Definitely a new staple of my Orlando trips!!

Not to be missed. A whimsical location with friendly staff. IMO the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had. Overwhelming variety of cookies. Price point at $6 per cookie. The line moves fast. Don’t be discouraged.

Delicious cookies. I’m so glad I waited in the pouring down rain for there babies 😂 I tried the chocolate churro cake as well. Definitely worth the soggy wait. The staff was so friendly. The inside was super cool. The staff definitely covered us with umbrellas as we waited outside and walked us to the door with them. They also escorted people across to the covered awnings with the umbrellas as they exited. Super thoughtful. 5 cookies and a slice of cake, 40 bucks!

If you like very sweet and slightly uncooked cookies, you must absolutely try! Gideon is not only a super fun brand, with nice packagings and a great atmosphere that makes you feel you bought something really special, but they also sell totally addictive cookies. The biggest surprise for me is that I love desserts but am not big on super sugary treats yet I could not stop eating those. I recommend the pistachio & toffee cookie and the lemon & poppy seeds one (I hope they will keep the last one on their menu!). I was lucky not to have any queue. I came 30 minutes before closing on a week day and got my order in 2 minutes. I definitely recommend Gideon and will come back when I have my next sugar craving :)
