The Pub

I was in town for a conference and had to come check out this pub. The entire experience was 10/10. The environment is clean and inviting (they were decorated for Halloween which was a nice touch). The food and drinks were delicious, and the service is what really drove it home. Nicole, specifically, was so amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. What an awesome place. Immediately, as we entered, we felt the authenticity of a British Pub. The theme was really interesting and different. Felt like I could actually be in the U.K. Not a whole lot of people on a Sunday evening, which was super chill. The beer selection, draft and bottled, was vast and great. Plenty of variety, both domestic and imported. The food was killer. It came out very quick as well. I got the Belhaven burger, which was on point. The food here seems very rich, so be prepared for that. Very well cooked and presented. Each person probably runs about $25-30 on average for an entree and a beer. Our parking ticket for the nearby garage was validated. The bartenders/servers here are very friendly and nice. We ended with Zack (Zach?) who was personable and hospitable. He offered suggestions and really made us feel at home. We will definitely be back.

At this age I have traveled everywhere. I love traveling and I love eating. I give 5 star to resturants if I feel good after I leave a restaurant. This time I want to give 10/10. Go for it. Order the best fish and chips you ever had in US. I only had one as good as this one in one hole in the wall resturant in London. Match it with Carlsbad beer and you are set to go. We had a great experience here, this is a traditional pub menu with other non traditional food. I really enjoyed the spring rolls and goat cheese dip for appetizers. We had a fabulous gin and tonic with Elderflowers. Great pot roast! Service was excellent. They let us take our time and enjoy the experience. A parking garage is available but the valet is complimentary make sure to have the wait staff validate it so as not to pay. This is located at the Pointe with several other restaurants. We arrived at 6:30 on Tuesday and were seated right away.

A happening traditional British Pub.. ordered the usual Brit food Fish and chips and sweet potato fries.. with Gin and Tonic. Fish was very well battered crispy from outside with soft and seasoned from inside.. paired with yummy coleslaw and tartar sauce. Sweet potato fries were done right crispy on the outside and soft on side, lightly seasoned with chefs salt just RIGHT .. full stacked bar and a happening place ..

Visited twice. 2017 and 2022. Our 2022 visit was so much better! First time we had shepherds pie which was stone cold, second time in 2022 I opted for the fish and chips (being British I just had to to judge it!🤣) the fish was really really nice as was the batter! Better than some fish in British chip shops, plus was happy that you sell proper chips and not fries haha. My boyfriend had pot roast which he really enjoyed too. Service was quick despite it being very very busy when we visited and staff were great!

The Pub is an intriguing mix of all pub cultures from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England. It's given an American flavour, which I didn't think would work, but it does. Service is extremely efficient and courteous and the food is very good. It's not quite 5 star restaurant standard, but it's not aiming for that type of clientele. We visited for lunch as a family of 3 and were so impressed that we returned later that evening with more friends of ours.
