We ate brunch here on a Saturday morning. We were warmly greeted and seated within minutes of our reservation. Diners have the option of ordering an entree or the buffet, which includes an entree, beverage (coffee, tea, juice, or soda), and buffet items (yogurt parfait, mixed berries, overnight oats, cinnamon rolls, croissants, mini muffins, orange bread, cheddar biscuits, and sausage gravy). There is a variety of entrees to satisfy a sweet or savory appetite. We ordered the buffet and each selected orange juice with the American breakfast, which came with two eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, toast, and a good serving of home potatoes. We added a press pot of coffee, which may be ordered for one or two servings. My spouse also ordered a Bloody Mary, which was well balanced. The buffet was a nice addition to the entree, and I would say it is one of the best value meals we have had. We really enjoyed the cheddar biscuits and sausage gravy. It was a breakfast that stuck with us until dinner, in a good way; we felt satisfied but not overstuffed to walk around the park. We came back for dinner with friends on another Saturday evening. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with dessert and cocktails. Our friend has a gluten allergy, and the restaurant had a separate menu of allergy-friendly options. Everything was delicious and cooked to order. Our server was attentive and friendly.

First first in three years and, as always, the food was very good. Had a slight problem when first seated for our reservation though - the desk forgot to tell the server that we were being seated.

Ale & Compass is a great spot for breakfast at Disney's Yacht Club and also Celiac Friendly. My wife (Celiac) was able to get a veggie omelet with egg whites and they offered her gluten-free pastries if she wanted to to do the breakfast buffet. I ordered the crab cake benedict for my entree as part of the breakfast buffet. It was tremendous! Hollandaise sauce was perfect and plenty of crab in the crab cake. With the buffet, it was $23, which was very reasonable. The buffet had your typical assorted pastries as well as country gravy and cheddar biscuits. It was a nice accoutrement to the entree, but definitely a mediocre part of the entire meal as far as quality goes.

The food actually surprised me. It seemed more gourmet than I was expecting. We ordered the catch of the day for one grandchild and surprisingly they served him a small portion of swordfish! He enjoyed it. Our granddaughter had pasta with meat sauce and enjoyed it. We also ordered the beef short rib, swordfish and lemon herb chicken with fingerling potatoes. The sauce was amazing! The broccolini was too hard and I couldn’t cut it with the knife they gave me it needed a steak knife. The bread rolls with three spreads was different. It had a citrus butter and a bacon butter along with a cheesy pimento like spread. The grandkids dessert was unique! It was a modified s’mores like dessert in the shape of a Mickey ears with chocolate wafers for the ears. It was VERY sweet so you can only eat a small portion. I gave it a 4 because service was just okay and our food wasn’t hot but warm. I recommend the restaurant because the food was quality and the prices were not bad at all. You won’t be disappointed.

In the Yacht Club resort. Beautiful, moderate prices. Chocolate waffles are a must. Traditional bacon & egg breakfast also very good.

This is seriously one of my favorite restaurants on Disney property for breakfast. It’s designed for more mature guests, so there’s fewer shrieks and screams drilled into my head before my magical bean elixir kicks in. The buffet add on is unique, for $23 you can add the buffet and coffee, tea, and orange juice to any entree. It’s a reduced offering compared to the full buffets at cape may, and chef Mickey’s. However, with parfaits, overnight oats, biscuits and gravy, pastries, fruit, etc., it’s plenty when added with the entree. My favorite is the salted caramel French toast, and my husband’s is the protein bowl.

It's always a pleasure dining at the Ale and Compass. The food is always delicious, and their burger is the second best on Disney property. I think it's the best! We've been so fortunate to have Landon as our server on numerous occasions. He always makes our visits seem special. We just moved to Winter Garden, Florida, so we'll be able to go more often instead of just when we were on vacation.

At the heart of the Yacht Club resort lies this middle-range price table service spot. The menu left me with wanting a little more options, and I felt a lot of the items were similar. I chose the bacon cheeseburger which I just found as a safe option. It was pretty solid, however it fell apart quite easily. I tried the flatbreads which other family members got and those were fantastic. The fries were alright. The pricing at this place is actually more than fair than a lot of places on WDW property. I thought the overall ambience and theming of this place was just average, nothing special. Affordable quality eats at this establishment!

My sister's wedge salad was not very good... My fish tacos were delicious though! Our service wasn't the best though. The table next to us had a ton of attention but we felt like we were forgot about. This was a nice restaurant, but definitely not the best experience.
