Jake's American Bar At Loews Royal Pacific Resort

We stopped in here for lunch prior to attending the Orlando Informer Meetup on December 8 2023. We shared pretzel rods, wings, and sweet potato fries. All three items were excellent. The pretzel rods were tender and tasty. The wings were sizeable with a mild Buffalo bite. The sweet potato fries were fried well with a crispy exterior and a tender interior. The service was a bit slow, especially given how few customers were in the restaurant at the time. We would definitely return and look forward to trying other items on the menu.

My family and I had dinner on Saturday December 9th. We were first impressed by the atmosphere and relaxing feel to Jakes. Our server Lala was one of the most sincere and pleasant servers I have had the experience of dining with! She was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The pretzel rods were the best pretzels in all the parks, the beverages were top notch and our entrees were excellent! Nothing but the best things to say about our overall experience!

Stayed at Royal again for a quick weekend fly-in trip. After dinner at CityWalk we stopped in at jakes for a evening dessert run. Loved the raspberry cheesecake and peanut butter pie. They ran out of my wife's key lime cake so have to get it next round. Bar staff was great...very informative and awesome personalities.

Our food was amazing but the best of all was our server Ellen. She was absolutely amazing both times she waited on us. Her attitude was outstanding and her service was on point. If you go in ask for Ellen and you won’t be disappointed. She also gave me an awesome piece of cheesecake and fresh fruit for my birthday along with a balloon and candy.

Food was good. Service was sometimes great, sometimes okay. I’d say it’s a decent place to dine in but not so much value for money. It was too expensive for the food that it offered. In other words, if the food was something you’d eat again because it was superb, and difficult to find anywhere else, then yeah they can price it that way. But if you eat there more than once, the options for good value becomes less. When we ate the first time, we were so delighted because the service was great, the food was very good. On the second visit we just had some appetizer, pizza, wings and sandwiches but paid over 250$. So it wasn’t anymore équitable with the price we paid because we can get the same quality of food somewhere else for half the price. But over all I’d still give them a 4. The mai tai was good!

We had dinner at Jake's American Bar after a busy day at the park. It was a nice change of pace. The service was great and very friendly. We were all able to find something we liked on the menu and got a couple drinks too. The food came out fast and we really enjoyed that it was so close to our room.

5 star experience across the board! Atmosphere, service, food and drinks were all AMAZING. From some of the reviews, I was expecting a noisy bar atmosphere with average service and basic bar food. That is NOT what Jake's is at all. The atmosphere was perfect, with comfy chairs and music playing quietly in the background. Service was EXCELLENT, best waiter we have ever had, in fact. The drinks were phenomenal, and the food was all delicious, and definitely not basic bar food. The quality is far higher. Definitely recommend!
