Review Andiamo Italian Bistro - Orlando

This place is a gem! Great food, great kids menu and polite staff. Service was fast, well timed and the kids loved being able to color all over the paper tablecloth. They also had a "kids eat free" option if you chose an entree or a pasta dish for the adults. Food was presented beautifully! We will definitely be back. If you're looking for good food that doesn't have a 3 and a half hour wait like the restaurants across the street at Disney Springs, this is the place! Walk over the skybridge, escape the chaos for a minute and enjoy a great meal. Then simply head back over the bridge and continue your shopping at Disney Springs!

Had a a great dining experience today at Andiamo. Our waiter Tyler was professional, friendly, and made our experience fun. The food surpassed our expectations! Every person in our party had something different and yet everyone was extremely happy with their meal. I would highly recommend this place to all of you who read this. I will definitely be back very soon!

We had been hesitant to try this restaurant after seeing the reviews but we are staying at the Hilton and after a long day at the park didn’t want to venture far. I must say it was one of the best dining experiences we have had the past week in Orlando. The service was fabulous Tyler was attentive and friendly a great waiter, the food was delicious best I’ve had In while cooked perfectly. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try for a great evening and incredible food. Sandie Von Schimmelmann

Service was fast and super friendly. The chef came out and talked to my husband about making him a special meal since he is vegan and there wasn't any vegan offerings on the menu. The adult portion sizes were big too. I highly recommend it!

Scallop and pork belly appetizer was fantastic. The braised short rib entree was also very good. Nice quiet setting and good service. A great dinner spot near Disney Springs.

The server (Tufik) was terrific, and there is plenty of food. The pesto is tasty with the fresh bread, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I would gladly eat here again!

This is a great place for dinner. They have really turned it around. The food and staff are awesome. No need to hike over the bridge to Disney.

Celebrated a big birthday dinner here with about 25 people! Excellent service & food! Staff went out of their way to make it a momentous occasion.

After reading several bad reviews still decided to give it a shot. Fettuccini Alfredo was great. Bean soup was delish and service was on par.

Calvert was our waiter. Food and drinks were awesome but Calvert made our experience absolutely incredible. He is the man.

The food was less than ordinary, my steak was tasteless, and it took a long time for the greek salad to arrive and it was not washed at all. We found mud all inside the lettuce. We lined up the lettuce on the table and called the waiter over (nice guy). He admitted to us that the first salad that was made for us, he had to return it to the kitchen because he noticed mud on them. So do Not go to Andiamo Italian Bistro and Grille. Waaay overpriced.

Overpriced and tasteless. First the good: our waitress was fantastic and truly seemed like she loved serving all of us.

Now the food: we were a party of four. Wine that can be purchased at any store for $9 was $40!!! I understand they must make a profit but that was robbery. We only bought the bottle because we wanted our mom to be happy. The meals. The sweet potatoes with squash were inedible, tasted (and looked) like frozen veg that was heated up in a microwave. The chicken piccata was decent but the chicken portion was laughable, used more like a condiment than the central part of the meal. The pork medallions were dry. My caesar salad was inedible as well. The dressing was definitely not the proper caesar dressing. It tasted vinager-y, more like a real bad version of the Olive Garden's dressing than anything else. The mashed potatoes "with caramelized onions" tasted like those straight out of a box and the so called caramelized onions were nowhere to be found. My mom and dad stay at the Hilton for the holidays every year. Been doing so for over 30 years now. Most times they dine at Andiamo on Christmas Eve...they were shocked to see the change in the taste and portions of the meals. This must be something new. It is too much coincidence that all four of us wanted did think the same even having ordered vastly different dishes. I'd never go there again, nor would I recommend it.

UPDATE: just spoke with Jared, the restaurant's manager, and gave him the exact feedback that is posted here. He was polite and a good listener and appreciative of me taking the time to call him. He apologized for our bad experience with the meal but offer nothing to make it better. He also admitted that he's had complaints about the so called caesar salad dressing before and that people have said the same thing I said "it tastes vinegar-y and nothing like a creamy caesar salad." He said he's had conversations with the chef about it in the past but, inexplicably to me, nothing had changed. They will talk again...and if past experience is usually a sign of future performance, I dare to say that I don't think anything will change. Good luck to you if you decide to eat at this restaurant (which I'd qualify as well below the Olive Garden in a bad day where taste and culinary know-how is concerned) and bring a week's salary to pay for an insipid culinary experience.

Great food and service. The waiter went out of his way to make our meal enjoyable. He even got us an appetizer that wasn't on the menu

Great Dinner. I had the spaghetti with the Bolognese meat sauce and it was wonderful. The service wasn't the best, there was no one at the hostess desk when we arrived and we had to wait awhile to be seated. It also took a while for us to get our check when we finished dinner, but the service wasn't so bad that I won't return. We are staying at the Hilton, and I definitely plan to eat there again before I leave.

Simply superb. Well worth going to. I had the Osso Buco with parpedelle. It came without the bone-which surprised me--but was incredibly delicious. The ample amount of meat was shredded and formed the sauce for the pasta. Best meal I have had in a long time.

Great food and service!. I called and made the reservation for this restaurant. When calling they asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We were in fact celebrating our anniversary!

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45. Bring in your parking ticket for the Hilton so that they can validate it at the restaurant. Otherwise you will be paying $10 for parking.

We ordered the Chicken Picatta and the Chicken Alfredo along with sides of the house soup. The dishes were served beautifully but the soup was a little hot (we both burned our tongues). I also ordered a glass of Italian wine which was amazing. The food was timely and the services was good.

When we asked for our check, it was taking a very long time to get it. We were starting to wonder if they had forgotten about us when the waiter arrived with two glasses of champaign and six chocolate covered strawberries (some with coconut, etc.) on the house to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a nice surprise.

We walked out with leftovers and feeling fantastic. The place really set the romantic mood for celebrating our anniversary.

Best dinner we have had since visiting Disney. The calamari appetizer with peppers was delicious. The portion was extremely large. My husband had the parardelle pasta with scallops and tomato pesto. It came with three large scallops on top. I ordered the lasagna which turned out to be 20 oz!! More than enough for two to share! share.
