Had reservations for Valentine's Day and were seating at exactly 6:30pm. Our server, Karah (I think), was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and checked in us frequently as we dined to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was great as always! Steak was tender and the fisherman's feast was excellent. Love the fried shrimp, fried lobster, the incredibly tender fried white fish and the fritters! The house salad (not pictured) is unique with beets, garbanzo beans, olives, romaine, and tossed in a light vinaigrette, then served over a scoop of southern style potato salad. Oh, and their garlic bread is amazing! I could have made a meal off it alone!

Food was excellent, service was very good. Only negative is way over priced on wine, but if your there you probably won't care. Was a highlight of the trip.

Good Lord, this place is phenomenal! First and foremost, request to be seated in Alli's section. She is a fantastic server, knows her menu forward and backward, and has great rapport with her tables. Everything she recommended was spot on. When we asked about certain items, she was incredibly honest and never led us astray. We had the seafood tower, oysters on the half shell, broccoli au gratin, garlic mashed potatoes, crab cakes, filet mignon, crab claws, and trigger fish. The blueberry mojito was delicious. For dessert we indulged in piña colada cake and key lime pie. This was arguably the best meal I've had in a long time. Thank you Johnnie's Hideaway for a fantastic evening!

Johnnie’s Hideaway is one of those restaurants that gives the illusion of being fancy without being too pretentious. This restaurant is known for steaks and seafood and they do both perfectly. You start off your meal with great service that is that perfect balance of friendly and formal. Some house made pickles are dropped off at your table with the drinks and then an amazing garlic rosemary cheese bread fresh out of the oven. Their house salad is a bizarre mish mash of stuff but it works and then you have table side service for your awesomely prepared entrees. They deliver most items on a trolly which just ads to the experience much more than a giant tray. Deserts are also amazing and worth trying. I can’t wait to go back to Johnnies. I love the atmosphere, food and experience.

WOW. If you have a group, then stop here. We had a nice private table in the back. Alex was our waitress and killed it. Great drink options. The seafood was ridiculous good! Scallop, calamari and sampler tower are awesome ways to start your meat. The crab claws, shrimp & crab legs were all humongous. Then when you're done with that your salad comes out. I feel like they drop half a head on your plate which was delicious. Lastly your main dish comes out. Not many could finish it cause the portions are just right but everything that came before it fills you up. Oh yeah...the cheesy bread was awesome so try not to overfill on that. Overall great food experience here! Our table was quite and tucked away from the live musician playing neat the bar.

Very good fresh seafood (& supposedly steak) restaurant in Cross Roads of Lake Buena Vista. We had a nice lake view table away from bar (quieter). Rob had Alaskan Red King Crab - super; I had a Tiger Fish /Crab Meet special - super. The house salads were very nice with potato salad hidden under lightly dressed greens. No room for dessert!

We started with Crispy Portabella with gorgonzola fondue, always a treat, and Bacon wrapped Diver's Scallops both were amazing. Lianne took great care of us. She was attentive and knowledgeable. I sipped a few of Gary's smoked old fashioneds while my beloved enjoyed the cherry sour. I had the Bone in Ribeye cooked and aged to perfection. We shared the redskin roasted garlic mash, blistered green beans and wild mushroom saute. My wife ordered the Seabass Oscar with a Madagascar shrimp on the side. The fish was fresh, light and delicious. The Madagascar shrimp has such great flavor, I feel it beats out the best lobster. A must try if you haven't. We finished this wonderful experience with the Grand Marnier Chocolate cake and the Piña Colada cake. Two polar opposites. The Piña Colada cake is light and refreshing while the Grand Marnier chocolate cake is rich and decadent. The Talk of the Town Restaurants are always spot on for a night out or any special occasion.
