Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen

My family and I had brunch at Chroma. This restaurant is very pleasing to the eye, beautiful decor and very spacious. We were seated immediately which was a plus. We ordered a variety of drinks, starting with the sangria, an old fashion, a bloody mary and ladies love gold. The drinks were great besides the bloody mary which was very salty. For appetizers, the crab and artichoke dip was a hit as well as the oysters. The salmon carpaccio was dry and had an overwhleming amount of cumin on it, the salmon board was average. For entrees, we ordered the chicken & waffles, eggs benedict, blueberry pancakes and lamb sliders. The lamb sliders is a must try, so delicious! The chicken and waffles were a bit salty but overall okay. The blueberry pancakes and cinnamon roll was also a hit and must try. Overall, it was a good brunch and I would definitely recommend. Thank you to Amalia, Angie ans Victoria for taking care of us and providing wonderful service.

Great place to go out to dinner, service is excellent, there were 14 of us and Daniela (our server) was amazing. Great variety of food, very tasty and the right amount. We had the Florida Market Fish and the Brussels Sprouts which we highly recommend. Highly recommend it if you are in the Lake Nona area

My daughter and I went to Chroma on September 30th to celebrate our birthdays!!! 🥳 Team Libra!!!!🤩This was our first time there. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe!✨It was big and spacious inside! The wine case is a classic!!!🍷I loved that! Our beautiful server ALINA was AMAZING!!!!! (And she’s a libra😉) We were seated immediately but waited a few minutes before someone came to our table. When Alina came to our table, she was very apologetic and explained why it took a minute for her to greet us! She is such a sweet spirit! Loved her immediately!!!! She explained each item on the menu in detail which was awesome!!! Her customer service exceeds 10!!!! (for real) Our alcohol and non alcohol drinks were really good! I had the black cherry lemonade and a pineapple margarita. And I don't really like margaritas but I like pineapple. Just delicious! My daughter had sparkling water with lemon. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I ordered shrimp and grits which were very flavorful and the shrimp was a little spicy (no problem there). The food was not hot like I like it but warm and edible. My daughter ordered chicken and waffles. Again, the food was not hot but warm and edible. Alina was so sweet to take the food back and bring us another order. The food was WARMER but still not hot. We did not complain! It was edible!!! It was good!!! Chroma really is a nice spot! Thanks TIC TOK!😂 It was Oktoberfest right in front of the restaurant! That was a great addition to the day! There was a live band, food stations and beer stations throughout the semi courtyard. We also checked out the Sculpture Garden which is walking distance from the restaurant. Talk about impressive!!!! 🥰 Beautiful sculptures!!! I recommend Chroma. Chroma is a very popular restaurant in Lake Nona serving small plated dishes of usually high quality food. The pancakes were pretty good, but the eggs fried over hard tasted like they were not made on a grill but a microwave. The texture was soggy and unappetizing. The ambience and service during my visit however was top notch even though I came alone during brunch. Definitely a place to go out alone or with friends, just steer clear of the fried eggs.

Chroma was an absolute experience that really drives home what Lake Nona is going to accomplish in the very near future. The dining experience was elevated and even during a late lunch slot, sophisticated at the same time. Despite being a scratch kitchen, the food arrived promptly, showcasing remarkable freshness. We had an extremely enjoyable experience and our server Aleena drove it home with her knowledge of the menu and her rockstar personality. Ambiance is polished and there are definitely plenty of opportunity’s for pictures. We will definitely be back to experience the rest of the menu!

I absolutely loved Chroma. They didn’t have very many food choices but what they do have was all delicious. The server was super attentive and accommodating too. I order the crispy pork belly pad Thai which was super yummy but spicy which I didn’t expect and I absolutely do not do spicy. The server brought me out some peanut oil to diffuse the flavor and I was able to finish my meal. (Suggestion ask about spices and allergies before you order bc it may not be so clear by the menu) Also it a beautiful spot in Boxi Park so it tends to be packed- definitely call to reserve a table ahead of time! They have a huge bar too and the drink were delicious too so don’t hesitate to go in just for a few drinks!
