We went here on a busy Friday night without a table reservation but we got lucky to get seated and thank goodness we did. It was such a delicious dinner!!! I had the Fragrant Duck with a perfectly grilled lamb on the side which had salty bits on the crust. (The menu posted on Zomato is not updated I believe because I cannot find the item that my husband ordered nor mine.) Needless to say this restaurant most definitely did not disapppoint.
Tip is to reserve in advance because this place is packed for good reason. My husband thought that the curry dish that he had was one of the most delectable dishes he has ever tried! And he doesn't even like spice or curry! We will definitely be back!

Sanaa, an African & Indian inspired restaurant inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, offers one of the most unique settings in the Orlando area. While enjoying delicious African & Indian specialties, you can also enjoy watching African Wildlife roam free on one of the resort's 4 savannas.

The naan is the dish to order. Five large pieces of naan and nine different sauces.

It's an appetizer, but with one or two more dishes, a party of two should be full. Splurge on the extra sauces.

Ordered quite a few more dishes with my party, though. Oxtail, lamb shank, and the other lamb dish starting with a b. Good, but not great. Mango margarita is also good, not great.

Service and atmosphere are excellent. The setting inside the restaurant is amazing, but it's the outside that is what people come for. Make sure you reserve at least half an hour or more before sunset so your party has plenty of time to view the animals through the restaurant windows - antelope, oxen, birds, giraffes, zebras. Needless to say, try to get a window table (arrive early).

I cannot write enough about the always satiating Sanaa! It is one of, if not, my favorite restaurants on Disney property! The picture below features their bread service which is a must have and you would be INSANE not to order! The stuffed naan is my favorite, as well as the coconut spread, but really you cannot go wrong. From butter chicken, to short ribs, to basmati rice, to the open face sandwiches over naan this food is delectable and taste even better when overlooking the giraffes, zebras and other animals in the savannah like the goody African Crowned Crane gauranteed to be dancing in the window with his reflection. The only way Sanaa ever went wrong was with getting rid of their chai cream dessert, THAT was a notable menu item! A tip if you're ordering coffee? Skip the Joffrey's because you will regret it and splurge for the french press of coffee that will ruminate your senses and wish you could have one delivered to your room daily. My words are useful, but go try it yourself!

Sanaa is one of the best value restaurants at Disney World. The food is exciting and different as well as being delicious. We ordered the Indian styles bread service with different condiments, pickles dips and chutneys. I loved it- so much food and flavour! It was fun trying all the different flavours and textures.
We also ordered some curries but we're so full from the bread that we couldn't finish them.
If I were to go again, I would order the bread service and another appetiser to share- totally enough food for two people!

Sanaa is in a class all by itself.  It far outweighed dinner at the signature restaurant we visited.  The restaurant is full of eclectic African art and a huge tree covers you.  There is seating for viewing the animals on the savannah also!  Dinners here are wonderful.  Everything from beginning to end is outstanding.  The Bread service will all 9 dipping sauces is worth the trip alone.  The tandoori meats are cooked to perfection.  Desserts here are wonderful! Service is never lacking! This is a must do every trip now.

Finally a fantastic meal at Disney. Sanaa is our one saving grace at WDW this year. Great service combined with excellent food. Can't say enough about the great time we had. Everything was as close to perfect as anyone could expect. If our meals at Jiko and Le Cellier were D and C respectively, Sanaa was an A++. Thank you Sanaa for rescuing our anniversary trip to WDW.

The view of the various animals comes secondary to the taste of the food. Some may disagree but Sanaa is the hidden gem of Disney's culinary kingdom.
The indian bread service is worth the $11.99, the sides are well portioned and varied.
The butternut squash soup was sweet anf lightly creamy. ..nice balance.
and the sustsinable fish served in the Goan curry sauce was a fairly large portion for lunch.
While we ate we viewed the new baby giraffe discovering her surroundings.
fantastic!!

Great way to visit with a one year old, young parents, grandparents and a great grandmother. We had a nice family meal, had the opportunity to see many animals, took a short shuttle to the other lodge, and left after a couple of hours.

Sanaa is definitely a one in a million type of restaurant. The flavor and quality of the food were some of the best we've ever had. The Naan platter is what Sanaa is known for, and the endless flavor combinations of breads & sauces to go with it are enough to satisfy any palette. Olivia was our server, and her customer service was second to none. She made our experience so much better than we could have expected with her wonderful personality and knowledge of the menu and drinks. Will definitely be making this a go-to for future trips.

Watch animals walk by the window as you eat a delicious meal. The gluten-free naan bread service was a highlight for us, and everything was absolutely delicious from kids’ meals to beverages. We loved Sanaa so much our first time there that we made reservations again for two nights later.

We are in the Sanaa Lounge. Our server was great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The bread service is enough for a meal on its own with near limitless variety. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. And the mousse was very delicious and rich.

We ordered takeout via mobile ordering here and the food was pretty good. I would be curious to try dining in the restaurant and trying some different things in the future. The only real downside is that it isn't very convenient if you're staying in Jambo house.

The food is so delicious! It has some heat to it though. The drinks were good, the mojito was so smooth. The menu has descriptions on the side to help you decide what to order, and the staff was very knowledgeable. And the resort is so beautiful

I came here 5yrs ago and this came came back just for their bread service. They have an option on the menu for 5 Naans and 9 different dips/chutney and it is MUST try! The Naans are plane, giner, spicy, and two paratha. We were a table of 4 and we were hungry, and as a result, we demolished that Naan plate. For food, we got the soup of the day, butter Chicken with Lentil daal, the steak and the shrimp dish. Everything was delicious!

My wife and I ate at Sanaa last night. She has a severe gluten allergy, while I can eat all the gluten. We ordered the indian-style bread service, which they allowed us to get partially gluten free. Typically the bread service comes with 5 different Naan breads, but they told us we could sub out 1 type of regular Naan for every gluten free Naan that we got. My wife just got 1, so I was able to try all breads except for the garlic-ginger Naan. I will say although you should try the bread service, I don't think the quality and value was worth $22. The bread was a lot crisper than traditional Naan I've had, which took away from the quality, imo. The sauces were OK. Nothing special, but solid. What stole the show for me was the NY Strip Steak I ordered. It was out of this world. Perfectly cooked to medium rare and SO flavorful. It came with the mashed peas, potatoes and corn, which is awesome and some carrots. My wife had the butter chicken, lentils and rice - again for $32, I'm not sure the value is there for that dish, when my strip steak was $36, but my wife enjoyed it. They prepared it totally gluten free and even made sure my dish was gluten free so she could try some, which was very nice! This restaurant is Celiac Friendly, for those that were curious.

Sanaa is at the lower level of kidani village in disneys animal kingdom lodge. It is an African inspired upper level dining restaurant that is themed as if it were outside in an African village marketplace. The atmosphere is like none other as there is a window wall that looks out on the Savanah where exotic animals graze and mingle. Giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many exotic birds can be viewed while enjoying your meal from inside. The service is always as good as it gets at any level. The bread service is something that should just be a standard as it is something no one should miss out on. It is naan cooked in a tandoori oven the authentic way. They serve five different types of naan along with 12 different sauces from blazing hot to smooth and cool. That are all delicious! The fish in the picture was served on top of a yucca fried pancake and it was literally the best piece of fish I have ever eaten! The braised beef is perfectly seasoned and is a true reflection of African cuisine. It was so tasty. The butter chicken is a dish that you can never go wrong ordering as well. The New York strip steak is a perfect cut of meat and cooked just as you like it every time. Sanaa goes down on my list as one of my all time favorite places to dine anywhere in the world! Go there! Oh by the way, if you can’t get a reservation, show up just before 5:00 and go to the bar. There are a few tables in there and if you’re early enough, you can get one. They serve the full dinner menu starting at 5:00.

Sanaa is amazing! As usual, Disney has great allergy options and their GF bread service was amazing!! Absolutely do not skip the bread service. 2 Adults split bread service & and a Potjie plate with leftovers to take home. The views at the window we're so great, especially at sunset. The only thing we did not like was our server Amy.
