A Land Remembered

This was my 3rd trip back to this fabulous restaurant located inside the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and it was just a fabulous as the first two times! We split the Lobster Bisque and I had the Fillet with Béarnaise Sauce accompanied with a Lobster Tail. He had the Bone In Ribeye with Peppercorn Sauce and we split a side of Grilled Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce. We had a lovely Pinot Noir with it and we’re just too full for desert. A wonderful evening! Our server Marcelo was amazing and very attentive to our needs! We will be back!

The food is to die for!!! Oh my goodness! My dad and I went here during Magical Dining Month and got the 3 course meal and it was outstanding! Our server Ginny was just a doll and the hostess was so sweet and gave us a nice window table. The 3 course meals consisted of Lamb chops for the app, prime rib for the entrée and a piece of chocolate cake for desert! Wow! Really spectacular, can’t say enough good things about this place.

My boyfriend took me here a few nights ago. Simu was our server. The food came out fast and perfect and Simu’s service was the best service we had compared to every restaurant. He gave great recommendations, checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal, had admirable manners, even the hostess was perfect! She offered to take pictures for us outside. We had the grilled octopus to start, and a tomahawk for two with bone marrow, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes. The steak melted in our mouth and was full of flavor. The black garlic butter was so delicious, but the steak was so good, it didn’t even need any sauce! We’re visiting from out of state, but are definitely coming back here. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful service from all staff members, and beautiful dishes from the kitchen.

If you live in Orlando or visiting and want to have a really really really good steak come over. The lamb chop appetizer is a masterpiece. My filet mignon is melted in my mouth, no chewing required. Smash the perfectly grilled garlic on top of it and you are in heaven. Jorge, our waiter made our evening so much more pleasant. I want to come back just to try it again everything else. The grilled vegetables are a symphony of taste, fragrance and beauty which is in perfect match for the steak. The price compare to Los Angeles is so so reasonable. Loved it P.s. when the manager comes and welcome you to their restaurant, and to every table it shows they care. Thank you Mr. Richard.

It is one of the best restaurants ever! The food is delicious. I've been going for years and have never not LOVED what I ordered. I try something new every time. I highly recommend the Crab Cake appetizer and the Scallops. They are a must get. On top of amazing food, the service is always incredible.

The place looks rustic and beautiful. The food was ok. I don't recommend their ceviche appetizer since it just tasted like they used vinegar as the juice. The staff was friendly. However, they never offered us desert and drinks after the first round. Seemed rushed even though we weren't even there till close to closing. I don't think the price justifies the entire experience. Gotta try everything once I guess...

After doing research based on our cravings we decided to do date night at a Land Remembered. -Alligator butter with assorted bread -Thick cut bacon appetizer (AMAZING) -Rose N Gin (made with my favorite gin!) - Lobster Mac N Cheese (probably the best one I’ve ever had- the pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente still with a bite) - Espresso Martini - sweet potato mash (as smooth as velvet, without being glue) - Sea Bass (I like how it wasn’t a breadcrumb crust) - Smoked Short Ribs (we’ve concluded this is probably the best smoked short ribs we’ve had) - Bread Pudding with a port wine sauce (made with crossaint!) Christian was our server and he was amazing. The overall flavor was perfect for our palate. Everything that was meant sweet wasn’t overly sweet either which was perfect!

We had an amazing dinner experience here. The wait staff was super friendly. They brought out a signed birthday card and dessert for our celebration...provided us with their top 3 dinner selection recommendations...and checked on us many times throughout our time there. All of our food tasted wonderful and the steak was cooked to our request. We will be a repeat customer.
