Review Nypd Pizza Lake Cay - Orlando

Was staying close by. Walked to this pizza place. Lady at the front was nice and told me where to order a (to go order). That lady was nice and helped me out. Ordered two single slices and some garlic knots. It wasn’t overly pricey and it tasted great. FYI the lady in the back handling all the orders really helps that place run smoothly. She made sure everyone got their order as soon as it came out of the oven.

What a gem 💎 in Orlando! Always keep going back. The pizzas are top notch, better than many pizzas I’ve had in New York, as someone who’s from that area. Service is friendly and prices are really reasonable. The area is nice and quiet and family friendly. You can get a large pizza to share with 2-3 people for under twenty bucks. If you want a good pizza come here and avoid the cheaper chains, you won’t be disappointed!! My favorite is the queens deluxe pizza, the toppings make it delicious.

Convenient location near the convention center, easy to get in and out with ample parking due to being in a shopping center. I had dine-in lunch on a weekday; the place was very busy but the staff was friendly and the service was still quick. I ordered a 10" pizza ("Queens Deluxe Pie") and the quality and quantity of toppings was perfect. Nice thin pepperoni, flavorful sausage, and the onions were not overpowering. Surprisingly not very greasy either. The crust has a great chewy texture while still maintaining a slightly crispy outside. My daughter had the lunch special which included a bowl of fettuccine Alfredo (half the dinner size) and a side salad. The side house salad had a fresh quarter tomato, thinly sliced red onion, croutons, and thick cucumber slices. The prices are great, especially if you order a pre-set specialty pizza versus adding a custom list of your own toppings. The New York theme is unique and unobtrusive. I did not visit the bar area but it looked cozy from afar. I'm really glad that we stopped here for lunch and would be happy to go back again the next time we're in the area looking for lunch or dinner.

A really cool place to get pizza and OH MAN is the pizza good. We got the Cheese Pizza on the top of the menu and the fried ravioli. Both were so good. We were in from out of town and had to try this and Giordono’s. To be honest, I think I liked this better. The bread and crust were cooked perfectly and the cheese was done so well. You won’t regret stopping here.

As delicious as the food was, it was the friendly and professional service that stood out. Our waitress was so kind and didn't rush us at all at closing time even though we offered to leave, so they could lock up behind us. We will be back and will be recommending this place to loved ones that visit Orlando.

Great place. We all enjoyed the pizza, salad, and wings. The service was also good. Our server was very sweet. The mango habanero wings were delicious. Prices were also pretty good for a resort area. Nice little bar area with plenty of different TVs playing. Lolly pops for the kids also. I also enjoyed to vegetarian pizza.

if you're in the mood for a phenomenal pizza experience, look no further than this neapolitan-style pizza joint. this pizza is the real deal - authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. the red peppers and pepperoni topped pizza is a must-try. the pepperoni is perfectly crispy and the red peppers add a nice pop of sweetness. the dough is perfect - it's both crispy and chewy in all the right places. Delivery was quick- less than 30 min to the hotel within a 15 min drive Wife also enjoyed the triple chocolate cake and the garlic knots were bomb! highly recommended!

You will find delicious pizza and Italian cuisine here for a reasonable price. The ambiance is simple and perhaps a touch insulting to New York's finest, but the litigation that took place regarding the NYPD logo and name was finished around '05. Just keep in mind that if you are going to the place because you back the blue, you are being played. The judgment they received insisted that they must post a message that states they are not endorsed by or connected with the New York Police Department and that they cannot run their establishments in the domain of said organization. I am not saying that the logo and name aren't clever, but to some, they may seem a touch disingenuous and misleading. That said, I found that the Rustic Salsiccia pizza was a delight. The caramelized onions and garlic really stood out, and the sausage was wonderfully flavorful. They have done well at putting themselves squarely in the middle of the fresh ingredients pizza movement that has risen out of the dust of the old corporate model. The garlic knots were nice, but perhaps a little overdone. My mother's calzone, which was the pepperoni roll, was quite nice if the bite I sampled was any indication. Other members of my table enjoyed the meatball appetizer and the chicken club Pizza. Based on my experience, if only for the food, this is generally going to be a very good bet in the area of International Drive. Our service was wonderful. Our waitress, Hunter, took excellent care of our table and made sure everybody's cups were full, food was promptly distributed, and that everybody was satisfied with their meal. So, short of some personal qualms I have about the marketing strategy employed by this chain, I have to recommend that you consider them seriously if you are looking for New York style pizza in this region of Orlando's tourist corridor.

This place is one of the few places I can still get broccoli on my pizza. As a Vegetarian who has food limitations, I like that I can customize the pizzas to my request and to fit my allergies. I have not had any issues with allergy requests here. Staff is always super nice. While I have stopped into this location a couple of times, I more often do delivery orders. I also love that they have Juniors cheesecake because if you're from New York or ever visited a Juniors there, you know how good it is. They do even have pizza by the slice here. I remember they used to have a larger variety, but they only had traditional cheese on my last visit in.

We've come here a couple of times when we're on the area,... usually after going to a theme park or Disney Springs. Pizza is pretty good. Husband ordered the Stromboli and my daughter ordered the baked ziti, both loved it! I had the fettuccine Alfredo, it's decent. I think it needs more fresh parmasean mixed in thesauce. Our server last time was great, very friendly. There's plenty of variety for everyone. We always come back here, just know it gets a little crowded on weekend nights. Also, local police sometimes come in for a bite, we always show them some love and thank them for their service!

Food was great, the service was above and beyond. I left my shades at the table and the waitress brought them to my car. Was amazing food and the garlic knots are 100/10! Highly Recommended

Garlic Butter Chicken Wings: The chicken wings were perfectly cooked. They were tender and juicy without any red on the bone. The garlic butter was scrumptious with a decent amount of garlic. The blue cheese was ok-ish. It tasted generic and kinda bland. Carnegie Hall Chicken Club Pie: It was delicious. The topping went really well together with the ranch dressing. There’s enough toppings so that you can get mostly everything with each bite. Manhattan Meat Lover’s Pie: The only not so great item we had. The crust were soggy near the middle of the pie. There’s simply too much topping, which made it very salty. You can’t really taste anything other than saltiness. Atmosphere & Services: We ate at around 5:30pm on Monday, so the place wasn’t packed. It was very chilled, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The server was friendly and attentive.

The best pizza I had in years! Personally I would’ve change the meatball slices for another topping but that is personal preference. The sauce on the pizza was perfect, the cheese had an amazing taste, the dough! I asked the waitress to tell the pizzaiolo to cook the pizza a little bit more than he would because I love a crunchy crust and boy oh boy, that thing was perfect. The border was crusty and fluffy in the inside. The place is very clean, beautiful. The waitresses where very friendly. Last but not least the prices were really good. Hope to be back soon for sure

Neat atmosphere, I loved the theme and how well they kept to the theme with the menu's and decorations. The food was tasty, and the service was good. I'd visit again.

Food is delicious here. Definitely one of the better NYPD chains around Orlando. Food is definitely NY style. My fave are the wings. So flavorful and always cooked right. Definitely a must stop. Service is great when eating in. All the servers are so nice and really get to moving during busy times.

Ordered takeout. Excellent pizza! Ready on time. We loved the Da’ Bronx BBQ pizza and the Manhattan Meat Lovers. The kids loved the cheese pizza, & we shared two large Caesar salads among four of us. The appetizers were okay, but for the price, we didn’t regret it! We got an order of fried ravioli (it’s cheese ravioli) & fried pickles.

Pennsylvania resident attending a conference in the area, we ordered a bacon/pineapple/spinach pie and a salad to be delivered to our resort. Fantastic pizza! Highly recommend! Food preparation and delivery were even quicker than I was quoted. Thumbs up all around! Thank you NYPD Pizza!

The first time ever eating here and their pizza did not disappoint. It was fresh, hot, and cheesy, just like pizza commercials. Service was quick and easy. The girl who took our order was very nice and explained a few things from the menu. Will definitely come back and take pictures of our order since this time the food was gone before I could even snap a pic.

The food overall was amazing😍🍕 but the server missed up twice on a drink because sh night , soda my brother ordered and brought two and said I'm sorry I didn't remember what he ordered which would have been fine until we saw she charges for both sodas then on my pizza I asked for the Brooklyn Buffalo pie with ranch but she forgot or didn't hear me not sure because when I asked she looked at me as if my question was an inconvenience to her the pizza came out with blue cheese which I can not eat it makes me sick to my stomach so careless to say I spend my Night in the bathroom

Started going last year was good first couple times but now we give up. Last time I went woman behind the counter was rude. Saying things like “wish I could sit there and watch people work” while we sat and waited for our pizza to be ready. (we had ordered takeout). She kept complaining to other employees that she should be off. We ignored it and waited. Guy comes out and brings a pizza and puts it in middle of rack. The woman then comes over checked that pizza and it wasn’t ours. She looked on top rack and our pizza had been sitting there the whole time. She gave us the pizza and acting like we didn’t notice. Then as we were walking out, the person I was with said the lady had called us weirdos. We ignored it again (figured she had bad day)and came home to a terrible pizza with so much cheese on it we couldn’t even eat more then a slice. (We ordered extra cheese so we figured it was our fault)�.. Now tonight we ordered a pizza again, it’s been a while, we bring it home and our first bite was nothing but dough on the bottom and flour .. I took pictures and now we have the pizza stone in the oven ready to cook this raw pizza.. top looks fine .. guess we should say ,well done next time �.... Still can’t find a decent pizza in Orlando SMH �..

Went to visit my daughter tonight so I order dinner. My chicken parmigiana didn’t had any flavor and the chicken was dry and hard. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo also no flavor at all. Garlic nuts also dry. I told my daughter to stick with the pizza, we have had that before and is was good. The dinner tonight was a terrible. The BBQ wings half of them dry and hard .

After moving to Orlando from NYC 2 years ago, it's been difficult to find good pizza that comes close to my beloved city. NYPD Pizza is the best I've found. I learned yesterday that the gentleman who bakes the pizza is from Syracuse. Great lunch specials and wings! Great place to hang with friends and family for a celebration or just as a quick stop for a slice. Definitely my go to pizza joint.

We're from NYC and we were pleasantly surprised with the pizza in NYPD. The guy was real pro tossing the pie and the pizza was delicious. Young crowd and great staff. Overall the local pizza restaurants in Orlando have better pizza then ours, I hate to admit it.

best cheese pizza I've found so far in Florida. good lunch specials too. Just make sure you ask for the lunch menu. But I also ordered a barbecue chicken pizza pie to take home but the toppings on this were pretty light. Was basically like eating bread with barbecue sauce.

I'm from Brooklyn, NY. We have the best pizza, so I'm very judgemental. It tasted good, very light crust. But doesn't compare at all to NYC pizza. We have the best!!!!

Best Pizza in Florida and the rest of the menu is delicious. Great Pasta, lovely salads. I recommend the Broadway Bleu, and even the wings are fantastic. Eating there will not break your bank either.

Come here for holiday from UK, found this place on 2nd night. Krista, our server was amazing, friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for us. Great pizzas and the Fat Tire beer was awesome.

Okay, so, my wife and I gave NYPD a try, we live somewhat close, and they delivered to us. My wife is allergic to gluten, and she has told me that she thinks NYPD has the best gluten free crust. The pizza I have had, was fantastic--and I love they New York style thin crust. Oh, and by the way, the sauce they use is outstanding. I would like to see this location have internet ordering, but the person on the other end of the phone has been helpful, and very nice. Oh...we're definately going to keep ordering from them. That is the highest praise I can give.

We visit here all the time with my 2 daughters (that are a handfull). We have never had a dissapointing visit. The food is top notch. The service is always great.

Fresh pizza, cooked to order, very high quality. Restaurant clean, well ordered, great lemonade, just what you need in the heat, totally worth the 4,500 mile flight from the UK.

Very disappointed with our visit on 11/18/17. We were a party of six and ordered a pizza, sub and roll. The roll was brought to the table 15 minutes after the rest of the food. The explanation was "the kitchen burnt the 1st one". No apology offered. Everyone at the table was just about finished eating at that point. Our waitress was also less than attentive. In the past we've had great experiences at this location; but I'm not sure what happened this evening.

Arrived on holiday last and the first place we find to eat was NYPD Pizza. Sit down after a 10 hour flight to a what can only be described as a party in my mouth! Brooklyn Buffalo Chicken Pie �� Great service. Great Pizza. We've been back most nights!

It was as close as you can get to authetic New York Pizza. Pizza was delicious. The waitress was attentive and the staff was friendly. I will revisit if I'm ever in town and in the area.
