Famous Dave's Bar-b-que

I don’t understand what happened since they first opened but this place is going downhill. They don’t care what quality of food they put on plate as long as it’s a sell. It’s a guarantee something will be wrong with the meat will or sides will bad. In summary if you a good meat order just make your on sides at home. The only reason why I still come is because I don’t eat at local ribs restaurants! Banderas a new Bar-B-Que restaurant is opening soon just blocks away. I hope that they will be better.

Never been to this location before. But, as the one in Bolingbrook is Permanently Closed, this is now our nearest location. I am hoping it was just an Off night, as this chain used to be a Family Favorite. Server was nice and polite. But food arrived Cold. Smaller portions than we are used to at the other location. And 30 minutes after food arrived, we finally got our cornbread muffins. They were great though; Piping hot, straight from the oven. Again, we are hoping this was just a one-time experience. We may be back...but, not for a while.

Great after I requested a light char. They always seem to dry out the ribs by overcooking them. Back in the day they was always cooked to perfection. lately the dryness as directed people elsewhere. The front end staff and greeters are always....professional. Facility is always clean. Let's focus on the cooks. Take the extra spice out of the bake beans so younger kids can enjoy them.
