Brantley's Village Restaurant is a friendly locally owned restaurant in Oriental Nc since 1978. They have a large dining room with two banquet rooms. The food is always excellent here with home style cooking. Today I had the grilled blacken catfish with green beans and a sweet potato. The hush pu
Brantley’s is certainly not hidden……..but it’s a gem. The restaurant was full of locals and we had what everyone seemed to be having…..the lunch buffet. Not big…..but very good. A constant stream of fresh popcorn shrimp, clam strips, trout, and some of the best bbq I’ve had in a long time. A great d
Brantley’s is an institution in Oriental that’s been around a long time. It is a real down home type of restaurant where you meet real people that treat you like family. There is a buffet lunch available that is brimming with standard southern fare. If you are in a hurry you can easily dish up lots
Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms. Did not like the scallops or the deviled crab. Deviled crab was mainly filler. Shrimp was good. The chocolate pie was excellent. $$$$$ for 2 people to eat lunch and including tip $83.00
My Husband and I found this place while he was looking somewhere to fish. We ordered off the menu the fish was Wonderful it was crispy and tender. Don't let me forget to mention the fish was Hugh when we finish eating the fish we had no room to eat the sides we ordered. We were full lol.The waitr
Down home place with great seafood! Run by the same family for generations and you can tell they care about making good food and caring for their patrons.
Solid. Nothing fancy. Pleasant. Was in the lovely town of Oriental and came here for a late breakfast. Went with a bacon and cheese omelet. Once again, solid. Wanted and ordered home fries and the nice lady came back and said they were out. Went hashbrowns. Typical McDonald's style hash browns. Bis
In town for a fishing trip. Visited for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were really good. Coffee was good and the service good also! Friendly servers. Would definitely come back!
Go early for dinner or you may have to wait a bit. Buffet is very popular with locals. Mostly fried seafood-$25. Hamburger steak was very good. Standout item for us was the pie! We tried 3 different kinds and they were all wonderful! The pie crust tastes like shortbread.
Great food and great people. We go back every year when we volunteer at Camp Seagull. The greenbeans are a treat and I love dipping my fries in the brown gravy.
A small locals seafood place. Don't be fooled by the tiny buffet - it had shrimp, oysters, scallops, clam strips, fish and the southern sides you expect. Oh yes, and hushpuppies of course. The food was kept at perfect temp & refilled often & was very fresh. My son got the trout off the menu & got 2
Great place to go and eat. There seafood 🦞 is amazing.
Philly cheesesteaks and onion rings are the best! So is the Downeast clam chowder. Great service.
Maybe it's just me, but it's hard to hear in that restaurant. Usually have their buffet and it's very good. Maybe change it up a little, though.
Made to order food was fresh and fast and the service was nice. The buffet changed my life and I will never be the same. There was a beautiful blonde lady there who was nice to me.
