As we sauntered into this Oregon City treasure the savory aroma of fresh ground sesame seeds filled the air.. The owners son was patiently grinding the seeds by hand then silently lifted the bowl for us to smell the rich earthy flavors which seem to embody the menu at this down to earth, delicious, and beautifully crafted Korean Fusion Restaurant. I highly recommend it. The food is Excellent! One of the best restaurants in Oregon by far!

The food is so fresh and made with care. For such a small place there are decent options. I believe both Soban and Ingrid's (that share the space) were both food carts that decided to have a more permanent residence. Also, if you want to eat Soban's delicious food and enjoy a beer, you can buy your food from Soban and take it into the Arch Bridge Taphouse right next door (inside there is an entry way that connects the two). I love the bulgogi flavor, but it is listed on the menu for beef rice bowl and today I wanted to try the tofu rice bowl. I still wanted that yummy bugolgi flavor, so I asked if I could substitute it on the tofu and he gladly did so. The food is great and he will change the flavors with the meat/tofu if you ask. While the flavors are great the presentation is also beautiful! :)

MY wife and I ate here on a rainy Friday evening. The staff was very friendly and explained any dishes we had questions about. I had the chicken bowl and pot pie steamed roll. Both were excellent. The bowl was nice and spicy -- just the right amount of spice in my opinion. Plenty of sticky rice, carrots, zucchini, and lettuce, also. My wife had the tofu bowl and they let her substitute two eggs for the tofu. She also had the curry steamed roll. Both, again, were excellent. We will definitely return here and recommend them to you for good Korean food.

Great rice bowls in a bibinbap style (though sadly without the crispy rice that gets stuck to the bowl). Small plates, small tables, friendly atmosphere, and great beers from next door. A welcome addition to our list of downtown dining choices.
