1st time in near closing I ordered a spicey boudin link. The lady gave me 3 extra and a free bottle of water. 2nd time I get this nearly foot long boudin for $4.45 on a bun. As good as it gets They have a freezer for take home items

Hidden between a whole bunch of fast food restaurants is this gem of a spot…right across the street from the truck stop…although it isn’t the fanciest of places the food is 100%….the beautiful Empress at the counter suggested a bliss box and even offered me a taste of the crackling..neat $15 bucks I’ve spent in months!!!! Worth the short walk for sure!!!!

This is not fast food, it made fresh here. I thought this would be another fast food fake Cajun, but it's real and authentic! The Boudin balls and egg rolls are a must try! Everything was good and they even sale their own meat if you grill or bbq!

I always get the jumbo shrimp and onion ring. I live in Houston it's worth the drive.

Stopped by on a whim. Read some reviews some were raving about the food and there was a guy that was puking. Place is small maybe 10 tables and a wall of glass freezers with frozen sausage and meats? I looked nice and homey. Tried the jumbo fried shrimp with onion rings and an order of the boudin egg rolls. First the good, the boudin egg rolls are pretty good. They are served with spicy mayo. This was the best part of my meal. Egg rolls are pretty good by themselves but add the spicy mayo and they get elevated. The spiciness of the mayo hits you really quick but it quickly subsided letting me enjoy the boudin eggroll. The jumbo fried shrimp were ok. They were plump and crunchy. They were lightly sprinkled with Cajun seasonings but nothing to write home about. The onion rings seemed the frozen store bought kind. Service was great. I wished I had tasted some of their different sausages but plate was pretty well served and didn’t have any more room. :(

Man this food was so good. Everything was very fresh. Only bad thing I have to say is they should be able to be rated for 6 stars instead of 5.

Great place to stop and get frozen or cooked boudin. The service is great. They are always happy and helpful. Recommend them for your frozen Louisiana items. Great prices and the food is fresh. Definitely try the cracklins that is very seasoned.

Fabulous! Traveled from Houston to La for work today. Office ladies scrabbled to give me an order. I only got two ladies lol. They gushed about this place. On my way back I stopped in. Employees were beyond friendly and helpful. Sold me on some cracklins.(which were amazing). So the spicy sauce is SPICY. however in my opinion the sause is good enough to eat and suffer for. lol Wasnt a hard suffer heat went away quickly.

Look I just was trying something new and omg it’s really good listen the ball with the race in it yes. and the eggroll kind of fool me at first, but when you start tasting all the flavors I don’t eat fish, so I didn’t eat that. and the shrimps was fresh and season y’all need to try them that parking lot should’ve have been full on a Sunday so if you are riding by on the highway like I’m doing and I just gave them a chance because I was tired of the same fast food

Very friendly environment. Staff were great. I got a pork chop sandwich with a side of fried okra and I have to say that is the best fried okra I have ever had. They give more than enough food for the price.

These are the best cracklings and shrimp I have ever tasted. Oh that spicy mayo? Omg it's to die for. You must stop here and taste them! The shrimp are huge too.

We drove from McKinney, Texas to buy their Smoke Hot/Mild garlic sausages alone with other smoke sausages! Service was great very friendly people, prices are good! We will definitely be back!!

Came highly recommended by my brother. First time coming here on our way to the casino. We ordered boudin balls, egg rolls and cracklins. The Boudin was absolutely amazing, paired with the spicy Mayo, To Die For!!! This was my first time having cracklins and I was afraid I was going to chip a tooth! They were very very crunchy.

A hidden gem! Been stopping in Louisiana and Beaumont for years and stumbled upon this spot. Great service and great food! Inexpensive to!
