Peggy's On The Bayou - Orange - Photo album

Popped in here with our guide for lunch after a fun filled morning of local fishing. To be fair its a hole in the wall kinda place with all sorts of charm. The food was very good, being half starved made it into the best food of the day. The patty melt and onion rings really hit the spot. What turne
Peggy's is the real deal. Fresh food, the best burgers ever (try the patty melt!), fried or grilled fish, and great sides. Today I got fried catfish and it was fantastic! Check them out.
An excellent little family owned local dinner/dive. Nothing fancy or bougie about it but the burgers are great and the folks are nice.
Great food, service was awesome as well!!
Nice place and nice people. You can call in an order and drive up to it in your boat.
Had lunch at Pegg's after fishing, hands down the best hamburger ive ever had!!! If you are out fishing and get hungry I'd recommend swinging by for a hamburger. Parking the boat is a little tricky but we'll worth it.
Everything about this place is what you’d expect for an on the bayou restaurant…. it’s pretty great. The food is fresh and made to order, so make sure you factor in a little bit of time for that. The staff makes sure you’re taken care of, and the atmosphere is super laid back
Great out of the way place for a great burger or seafood options.
Great food. Will return soon. Had lunch with a friend there today. He had a burger he couldn't finish. I had the shrimp burger....more than enough to eat!
This place is a hidden gem of the Golden triangle. While most people talk about the seafood (and the fried catfish and shrimp are very good) I think the real star is the hamburger. This is a serious contender for the best burger in the area. Peggy is super friendly, and the service is fast. What els
I wasn't very Happy that Peggy's is now a hamburger joint. It's been a while since our last visit. So disappointed about that. Only a few tables now and unfortunately they are still renovating I suppose. It looked like it. I don't remember the menu being so selective either. Very limited to small ba
Love this place, come in every trip to the area, family owned and operated locals. Everything is usually fresh, cooked great and seasoned up perfect. Especially if miss Peggy and her husband are working. This is a quirky hole in the wall place, a lot of good people frequent here. If you want fancy
Great food, super friendly staff. The burger was even better than a 5 Guys burger. Great job.
