I normally don’t leave reviews but this place has become my go to for pupusas. I won’t go elsewhere because I know the quality I get here will be amazing every time. Have never been disappointed! Definitely give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This place has the best popusas ever!! This is my go to place for popusas! I specially love their popusa with beans & cheese! They are so tasty. My coworkers are hooked on the chicharon and cheese popusa. The most requested one I gotta say is the revuelta popusa!! It’s sooo delicious! They are well filled and with the curtido and salsa on top they are so delicious.

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I are pretty picky with pupusas, but this place is amongst my top 3 pupuserías! Not usually busy midday Fridays, not sure about other days. Stop by!

Sooo yummy. I always gotta get pupusas when I’m in SoCal and El Pulgarcito had the best reviews in the area, so I popped in with my brother. Did not disappoint 😋

The service, and food were great! The food tastes homemade. What’s great is they also provide you with everything you need to add to your pupusas. The staff were very welcoming. And what’s cool is that it actually takes a while for the food to be ready but that’s only because this place is not a fast food joint, so they actually are making your plate right off that stove. You just can’t get something better than this el Salvadorian restaurant. I left really satisfied, and will be coming back.

I got Pork and cheese, shrimp and cheese, and bean and cheese pupusas. I found out that the pork and chicken are grinded down, I'm not sure if this is traditional but I was kinda hoping for shredded. It's made to order which I love! The only thing that bothered me was that it felt like the AC was on blast so it was super cold for me personally but besides that the staff was extremely nice and the shrimp pupusas were good. Also to add I really liked that this restaurant provided a whole container of the tomato sauce to each table that orders pupusas eventhoug it did taste a little watered down!

Pupusas may as well be a food group for me. They are so good, and El Pulgarcito makes some tasty ones! I got the loroco con queso and frijol con queso. So so good! My husband got camaron and chorizo, he said they were great as well. Especially the camaron. We both love curtido so we got extra and took some home. If you're trying to decide if you should make it a combo, DO IT!!! Probably some of the best rice and beans I've ever had. There was a bit of a wait to get the good, but I promise it's worth it.

Had 2 pupusas (1 revuelta & 1 pollo con queso) and shared pastelitos de puerco. All was very good the pastellitos were my favorite. Topped with curtido and a warm tomato sauce. Would definitely come back!

Read the reviews and I had been craving some good Pupusas so grabbed the husband and kiddos and headed over to El Pulgarcito Pupuseria. We ordered an assortment of pupusas and the kids got their first taste of these amazing creations. The pupusas were amazing and we tried them all! We also ordered the shrimp ceviche and the plantains and beans and we made sure to get the empanadas plantanos for dessert. Everything was so delicious, made to order and very amazing! The only thing I did not like was the Salvadorian Horchata. I love the Mexican Horchata and wanted to try this Salvadorian version but at the first sip.... something wasn't right. It tasted like....chemicals. It was truly odd and very hard to explain. Everyone at the table tried it and we all had the same experience. I don't know if that is what it traditionally tastes like but....if so, I will stick to the Mexican Horchata. I didn't let this taint our overall experience because everyone has their own taste when it comes to food and drinks. The staff took the drinks off our tab even after we said we would pay for them but politely told them we wanted to order something else. That was very nice of them and unexpected. We can't wait to go back!!!
