Yellow Deli

LOVED this place!! The decor is sort of "old restored barn", with trendy aspects. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. I had the butternut squash soup and cranberry cashew salad with house vinaigrette. Homemade bread on the side. Nice variety on the menu, and staff were amazing. Makes me wish I lived in Oneonta so I could eat there more often!

Parking is scarce . Right before the deli there is a free parking garage (on same side) . When u see the yellow paint saying free parking - turn right into the garage . Lovely joint with homey vibes . Thankful to have the fireplace while waiting for my pick up order . Front desk staff welcoming . Food packaged appropriately . Utensil given . I don’t like bread . Whatever bread it is they gave me was like HEAVEN in my mouth !! The squash soup is dangerously good . Spinach & egg wrap I couldn’t have done better myself ! Regardless of their held belief & religious systems ; they make some mighty fine delicious food ; my lord !

Staff are super pleasant and gave us samples of tea. Jams on breakfast are delicious. Deli Pesto sandwich was awesome. Make your sandwich is great also. I got stuck picking the right flavors. They helped me make the perfect sandwich! Tons of choices for drinks. The building is amazing and you can easily spend time looking at all the details.

Hands down, the very best eats and the very best service. The people truly are special. The food is as fresh and hand made as it gets. All ingredients are carefully selected and food is made with care. This place exudes love and a welcome atmosphere. There's a LOT more going on there than great food!

Amazing food, kind workers, GORGEOUS interior (love the woodworking). I can smell the yummy food from the street! Sometimes their service is a bit slow. But I really appreciate having vegan options!! Best veggie burger I have had! Their housemade veggie burger is even better than brands like Beyond, Impossible, etc. The bread and toppings really make it the best too. The fact that their prices haven't changed after all these years is really amazing too.

Great homemade food and good people, with a good purpose (I asked, it wasn't offered). I hadn't checked reviews but had heard it was open late and thought it was a bar. There are many drinks offered, but is not a bar. Many teas, health drinks, smoothies are offered. The menu has many sandwiches, and also has vegetarian options and salads available too. For the readers consideration to the negative reviews:. I'm sure that money I spend at restaurants supports many various people's agendas. And how I choose to spend it is on good food and to support good people, regardless of their beliefs- even if it conflicts with my own. Try the yellow deli and enjoy!
