Tasteful, spacious hometown cafe with historical photos and seasonal decor. You can get half of the hot roast beef sandwich if you have a small appetite. Nice & clean atmosphere!
For a local Cafe the food was excellent. The portion sizes were large and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was really nice open and airy with a cool old building feel while being nicely updated.
The service was a bit slow, as they appeared to be slightly understaffed, but they were very friendly and helpful.

Don't have experience with other items on the menu, as I always have blueberry pancakes and bacon. Awesome! My only complaint is the coffee... It more resembles tea than coffee. Weak and tasteless. All in all, it is a wonderful place.
Oops, almost forgot, the restaurant houses consignment items. The handmade candles are the best ever!

Nice small town cafe. Big portions and good prices. I had the breakfast feast and it was great, chicken fried steak was large, crispy and tender, able to cut with a fork. Pepper gravy was not over peppered. Four kinds of jelly on the table; grape, strawberry, mixed fruit and apple butter. Wife had the pancakes and they were bigger than the plate. Did not take very long to get our food. Staff was good and the seating area is what you would expect from a small town cafe, clean and spacious. If you are traveling in the area, take the time to visit Frannies cafe, it will be worth your time, plus it is not far off interstate 29.
A welcoming environment where everyone seems to know everyone else. Waitresses are always quick with any requests and are helpful with any questions from the menu. There are always specials which are a fantastic option. The food is always cooked well and no matter how busy they are comes out quickly. Highly recommend making a trip to Frannie's!

Very clean establishment. Bright and cheery. Waitress friendly and pleasant to have wait on our table. Food came quickly and was hot. I'd go back again.
