The Mantu appetizer was flavorful. Overall, we tried the Dopyeza (probably our favorite), Chicken Kabob, Shami Kabob, and Chapli Kabob. All had great spice (although not hot spicy) and the portions were plentiful. We also tried the Yogurt Drink (Lassi/Doogh) and that has a very... um, special taste but not one we need to experience again.

I was recommended this place by a fellow foodie. Drove up from Lincoln and got the chicken biryani. Instead of chicken chunks, you get two whole pieces of chicken (leg and thigh). Food came out fresh and fast. Can't wait to try their other items on the menu. š

We ordered their Lamb Chapli kabob & Lamb shami kabob however both tasted the same with a slight difference in taste.
We liked both the dishes.
They serve them with your choice of rice or bread.

Amazing cuisine, so flavorful and the meats were all so tender and delicious. I took one star away from the atmosphere because I couldn't find the light switch in the bathroom anywhere Lol. This will be a new favorite cultural food choice!

Very, very good. I highly recommend to try this Afghan fare. First time, and definitely will be coming back. Delicious prepared to order home cooked food. We tried 3 dishes. All were terrific. The rice soo good. There is also a wonderful store with fresh meats and much more. A definite Omaha hidden gem! With quality product and service, it won't be hidden for long.

Delicious made-to-order food! Weāve been a few times and every time it is incredible. I would eat a plate of this rice alone, but the okra and the combo (chicken, lamb, and kabob) are what dreams are made of! Amazing service as well! Try the green tea if youāre a warm tea fan, itās great!

The food is amazing! I have been coming here for last 4 months, but from the last two weeks the food has changed alot. The guy named Mr Jummah served us free tea, the best tea so far i have had in US!

It was my first time but Iāll definitely be back! Mantu, combo platter, soup and coconut ladoo were all fantastic. We ordered take out and itās made to order so we had a small wait time but she gave us soup while they prepared our order. Fantastic service and well worth the small wait time for fresh food

Excellent food!!! It was our first time there and we absolutely will go back again and again. We used to go to Lincoln whenever we crave such authentic food. Finally, we found a restaurant in Omaha that makes delicious, authentic and outstanding kababs and lambs. We tried the Mantu and was perfectly cooked. As other reviewers stated, the rice was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The most important thing, everything is FRESHLY made, which is a quality not found in many other middle eastern and asian restaurants in Omaha, Mashaāallah.

Chicken kabab was juicy and delicious, bread was really good, felt like back home, Afghanistan. Rice well cooked, itās not easy to make that right rice where each grain can be counted. We loved it. Thank you

Today for the first time, I got the chance to dine-in at this family owned restaurant and I have to say it as one of hidden gem in the omaha city. Such an amazing sumptuous food with super delicate spices with fresh and tender meat. You wont find better afghan restaurant in Omaha. The lamb shanks were š. Came with fragrant rice and the raisins add a hint a sweetness. This isnāt a spicy dish for those who are not used to spicy food.
The chicken biryani was also well seasoned and fragrant. Itās spicy and the rice is more moist than the Indian counterparts.
The service was great. The owner is super friendly.

The Dopyeza was extraordinary but not as much as the family behind the food. This unassuming, yet tasty restaurant and adjoining grocery store is 100% family run by one of the kindest families Iāve met. If you want 100% authentic Afghan cuisine, look no further!

Really amazing food. The quantity was also good. We ordered chapli kabab which was 8.99 per plate. The plate included three kabobs, one nun, and really amazing green chutney!
The owners of the restaurant was really courteous.
Yet to try their biryani, but the kabab is one of the best in omaha. Their food is authentic Afghani!
The price of all the foods were very reasonable and they were halal!
