Home Cafe - Omaha - Photo album

It's an old school joint with it's own vibe; we drove all over looking for a breakfast spot and this was the only one not sitting with a waiting time; however the food was delicious and probably the cheapest in town and flavorful! The joint was quiet and had its own home quirks to it that I found a
Food is okay, 4 for the space which is very old and not clean. It’s cheap but it’s just not nice to use their bathroom and the seats are fixed with tape… You can pay OLNY cash, but also they don’t take 50/100 bills. Kinda weird.
Iv been looking for a good classic cafe in Omaha for about 2 years now. Im simply in love. Place has been standing since the 30s and seems the prices have barely changed since then. This place is as real as it gets.
CASH ONLY The food was good. Lots of bacon on the BLT and the fries were hot and crisp and perfectly golden. Parking is a bit limited in the area. It's an old hole in the wall type diner and it shows but the staff is friendly and the food is good. Prices listed are old ones so add a couple of doll
Great place to go for a Saturday breakfast! As soon as we walked in, one of the cooks in the kitchen greeted us, and our waitress sat us right away. Great service, and great food! Made me feel like I was having breakfast at my grandmothers house. I would definitely recommend this place to people who
Know them for 40 years, awesome home stile cooked meals, From Breakfast to Dinners, These little places are becoming rare and hard to find. My personal favorite is there Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.

They were super busy on Memorial day but we still got taken care of and food was delicious and very reasonable. I recommend the pancakes and the chicken fried steak. We will be back to try more!!
Prepare to walk back in time and it's great. You can spend $12 for fast food trash or go here for a real meal.
Perfect local cafe. Delish food and perfect coffee. They only take cash though!
Cash only for sure but well worth the effort of getting it. A real down south type of feel with a built in grandma to boot lol truly felt at home. The food was good and the price was reasonable.
Me and my BF come here every couple of months! And everytime the waitress remebers us and knows our order! Enchilladas are out of this world. Everything that i have tried is amazing! Parking sucks but u just have to be patient and drive around the block a couple times. Food is worth it
Simple goodness. This place has been here for a long time, and there is a good reason for that. Cash only. UPDATE: BEST HASH BROWNS EVER.
Great little Mom & Pop diner. Portions are generally larger and very affordable. Aesthetically, it feels more like a road side cafe in the middle of nowhere than smack in the middle of South Omaha. The only drawback is that they operate "cash only". There are signs all over to remind you and the sta
Exceptional quality of food, can't express this enough. Those that want to hate just because of the atmosphere or not greeted at the door after these ladies had a long morning/week. Give me a break and give them some slack. The food quality is top notch so deal with it. Blessings to the Home Cafe fo
The food was very good but the place needs to be cleaned!
