Durham Treetops Restaurant - Omaha - Photo album

It's really expensive but that's what I guess you can expect when you decide to eat the zoo. It really isn't bad though. The Hamburgers are really good. And they have salads and fruit, desserts, fountain drinks. They serve booze here too and ice cream. Hot food and cold options. Then sit looking out
A few things on the menu were unavailable. Seating was comfortable and a pleasant view.
My family has been eating at the Treetop for 25 years. We will continue to do so. Great view of the Jungle, and if you are lucky, you will see a monkey or two.
They have Gluten free options! Was super happy about this. Had the Cheeseburger with gf bun and fries. I'm not Celiac, just gluten sensitive. No issues.
Cafeteria style order your food. Food is a bit pricey but good and well prepared. Atmosphere is a wonderful view of one of their jungle exhibits.
Food was alright, pretty expensive though. It was fun to look over the jungle while eating.
It's cafeteria style dining you order wait for your order than pay on way to the indoor seating area where you have a view of a tree in the Lied Jungle with monkeys in it while you eat
I was surprised by the quality of the food. Normally in my experience at zoos/museums the food is decent or garbage. Here I had a double cheeseburger and it tasted just like a normal restaurant. My only complaint was that the process of getting through the line was slow. It was like a cafeteria in
Had good burgers cold fries but worth it to eat next to the monkeys
Treetops Cafe has very basic food options--burgers, fries, soup, pre-made salads and veggie/fruit snack boxes. The main appeal is being able to look out over the jungle!
