Taqueria Chango - Omaha - Photo album

The real thing - in atmosphere, people, drinks, food and price. Loved it. Really really good. Pretty invisible place. Unclear entrance. Very nice, on the inside. Small menu but real stuff, not the greasy mix of beans and bad cheese that you regularly get under the label ‘Mexican’. Spicy things. Wi
I loved the food, everything was freshly made and the salsas were excellent. The people were very helpful and took pride in the food. Will definitely be going back!

The food was amazing. The portions were generous. The service was very attentive but don't wait to be seated, I learned, just find a seat! Will definitely be going back.
Awesome authentic Salvadoran dishes. The tamales and street tacos are sublime. The prices are less than half of fast food and each table is given a complimentary tray of topping including lime wedges/ radish wedges, cold cooked onion and cold roasted jalapenos. Wash it down with a Mexican Coke in th
Fast friendly service, very clean restaurant food was great
It has been many years since I had the opportunity to try sauces as rich and spicy as the ones they offered us, the tacos are their specialty and the other types of food are wonderful, congratulations, they really do, the treatment is magnificent
Amazing food and service! Definitely am going here again.
Authentic Mexican restaurant with exceptional service. Green salsa that comes with complimentary chips is spicy but tastes great. I had the beef burrito and would definitely recommend it. Beef bean and cheese papusa was not bad, but wasn't filled with a lot so it was kind of floury. Not the nicest r
Authentic and delicious. Thin cut grilled chicken was nicely spiced. Fluffy rice. Sauces are amazing. Super friendly staff. Was a great experience. Will definitely be back soon.
I had the best experience here for lunch today and the service was EXCELLENT. Everything was fresh and authentically made. They certainly were not greedy with the food you get either! I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it to those who want a taste of real Mexica
Been craving some good tacos and these really hit the spot. Only tried the asada. Was flavorful and they brought out a large platter for the grilled onions, limes, etc. My friends tried some pupusas and enjoyed them a lot. I like mine a little cheesier but they liked them as they were. My horchata w
They have the best pupusas I have tried in the area. It gets crazy busy on Wednesday, since they serve $1 tacos on that day. Pretty comfy family corner.
As a Salvadorian, I'm extremely picky about Salvadorian restaurants since I make pupusas at home. I've never been fond of pupusas here in Omaha but I actually really enjoyed these! I have found a hidden jem in the city.
The food is super good here, I haven't had tacos this good since I was a kid. They steam their tacos by the way. There are also Salvadorian options too like pupusas which are also delicious. I recommend the tacos de lengua for sure! Just bring someone who knows Spanish and have a great dinner.
The people here are great. I lost some cash in front and came back 30 minutes later, someone found it and returned it to me. I ordered 2 tacos to go and the were awesome.
Papusas and horchata were amazing. I could see the abuelita in the back hand making the papusas. Fresh never frozen. My only complaint was they put my hot sauce in a bag. It doesn't affect the food, but makes it difficult to eat on the road.
Delicious! We had some papusas and tacos, all were very tasty! Everyone was very nice and patient. Will definitely be going back.
