An Omaha institution! Located in the basement of the crescent moon (Omaha #1 rated bar several years running) this beer hall style German bar lets you enjoy a fun rowdy drinking experience of authentic German beers in a lively setting. Great for group nights out, they even have boots available! Pass and drink a large glass boot filled with 2 liters of beer.
UBER GUT!!. Had a great time with my husband! Great beer selection...wait...awesome beer selection. Everyone and I mean everyone was having a great time. Music was loud...but that's what you get when you go to a BEIR HALL!!!
Good German for Omaha. The place is in the basement of the Crescent Moon Ale House so you have to be looking for it to find it. The decor is reminiscent of a German Gasthaus and has a warm inviting atmosphere. The music was a little loud, but probably appropriate for the Friday evening college crowd. The service was fast and friendly. The menu is very limited for food (lots of beer!), but the selections are German standards. The servings were large and the prices low. The jagerschnitzel (mit pommes frites und salat) was about $9 and the sausage plate was $6. Good, basic food, only one improvement area; the gravy for the schnitzel was a little bland.
My favorite bar in town. They have my favorite Optimator on tap. They have German pretzel and stuff goes with your German beer. Yum!
Ok...little speakeasy in the basement of another bar..... but once you get here it is what you would feel and think an old German bar would be.. great German beers on tap... some even available in the old boot size... ok took the plunge on the boot... if your going to this... they keep your ID and card.. all understandable... but its a great beer. The experience more than worth the money.
The annual Reubenfest is always delicious! We shared several dishes at our table so we could try as many as possible. So YUM!
If you like German draft beer this place is a must. They have at least a dozen on tap at all times. It's sorta hidden in the basement of the Crescent Moon. The staff is friendly and always provide great service. Be sure to join the Huber Haus Mug Club. A one-time fee for a lifetime membership gets you discounts on draft beer and access to a monthly party with giveaways. What's not to like?
Very cool German Rathskeller type of bar: The night that we were there they had a polka band. Space is somewhat limited so plan to share your table with new friends! Parking is adequate around the building and the upstairs bar is a more traditional large and spacious conventional bar. The Huber Haus Can get a bit noisy if there’s a lot of people or drunk Germans in the place! Food is somewhat limited as expected but the bars got lots of beer choices for the connoisseur of German beers! Get das boot if you are really thirsty! I would give it five stars if they turn the sports off of the televisions and put some Hogan’s Heroes on. Or better yet keep the polka music going! You haven’t lived until you’ve heard
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida on an accordion. And after that, you don’t want to.
Got smashed on a couple boots for a friends birthday. Super fun and authentic feeling environment
Fun atmosphere , the boots full of German beer are the best. Great gathering place for groups of friends
Great atmosphere and very nice staff! The best selection of German beers I’ve seen in Omaha.
Great atmosphere. Good music. Delicious beers, especially the Dunkel (dark) beers. Nice hidden gem.
Fun German style bar downstairs of the Cresent Moon. Selection of German beers on tap.
Great selection of German beers & fun atmosphere!
