Delicious food, very helpful staff in deciding what to order. Hummus, chicken shawarma, and lamb curry were all fantastic! Cannot wait to try again, this place is a hidden gem!

I was reading the reviews on here about this place having bad service. I LOVE this place and the owners (there were two). I've met them both on a number of occasions that I've been here, even to the point that when they were trying new "dessert" things, they would let me try them before they went on the menu. Their stuffed dates were amazing! Oh how I miss those! The food has always been amazing every time I've been. Yes it does take a while to get your food, but if you'd ever walk into the back, it's because they really do make the tangines fresh. I've tried everything on the menu at least once. My favorites are the lamb and the appetizer sampler. And if you like heat, ask about their hot "sauce." It's sort of like a hot pepper pesto thing, amazing!! I do recommend this place if you want something different. I've been coming here for at least 7 years.

First time for us to eat Moroccan food. We enjoyed the lamb and shrimp curry. The vegetables are wonderful; not ordinary overcooked green beans or corn but a variety. The baklava was a little pricey at $7, but fed both my husband and I. We plan to go back for more! Friendly folks work there as well.

One of the best. Service was very friendly and "human", not like usual service in the USA which is very businesslike. We were encouraged to hang out and enjoy conversation and our meal. Five of us ordered the family plate, which comes with four choices of entrees, all served on a bed of perfectly cooked basmati/long grain rice. The meat and vegetables were all cooked perfectly, and the owner even threw in some fried eggplant, like they make "back home." Try the spicy green sauce!

Tonight was my second time eating at here, and I loved it. Both times my boyfriend and I just shared the appetizer sampler, a main dish, and the crepes. The appetizer sampler is great because you get a little bit of everything. Out of the appetizers, the hummus was definitely my favorite; it was my boyfriend's too. Last time we came, we had the chicken curry; this time we tried the lamb curry. Both were very good. If I had to pick between the two, I'd say the lamb was better. It was so tender and just melted in my mouth. My favorite dish though, would have to be the crepes. The crepes are made with Nutella, strawberries and bananas, and come with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Honey is drizzled all over the dessert; and you'd think it sounds too sweet, but no, it's just right. I don't think the prices are the best, but I had a deal to use both times, so I thought it was worth it. If I didn't have a deal, my total would have come out to around $40 for the three dishes.. Moroccan/Mediterranean food is not something I would normally eat, but after eating here the for the first time in June, I knew I wanted to come back. I would definitely like to go back again and try another main dish; maybe the lamb tagine?

I visited for the first time last Tuesday, and it was so good, I couldn't get it out of my head for the rest of the week, returning again on Sunday for a 2-hour leisurely feast, starting with samosas ~ one beef and one vegetable. Both were delicious, as were the cucumber and mint sauces! For the main course, my friend enjoyed the beef tajine (I had the lamb tajine on my first visit.), delighted by the beautiful presentation in the colorful clay pot. Whereas, they usually remove the lid from the table upon serving, we asked them to leave it for us to admire. It makes a lovely centerpiece. It was her first time experiencing Moroccan food and she loved the new flavors and the colorful mix of wonderful vegetables. I had the saffron lemon chicken this time and enjoyed it immensely. Knowing I wanted dessert (both visits) I only ate half of my entree, saving the rest for dinner. That way, I was able to indulge in both the rose water infused nut-filled dates and the baklava without overstuffing myself. The staff are all incredibly pleasant and patiently answered my many questions. While one can get in and out in an hour, if one so desires, I appreciated not feeling rushed and being able to sit for hours, visiting with my friends both times. I strongly recommend this place and will do my best to spread the word to friends and colleagues to support this ethnic gem. As a small business owner myself, I know that nothing carries more weight in marketing than personal referrals.

Love this place. This is absolutely the best lentil soup I have had outside of Istanbul, Turkey, and I have tried alot. The chicken shwarma is very yummy and tastes authentic. I think this is the best middle eastern restaurant in Omaha by far. The wait staff is friendly and the decor is interesting. There is always something to look at and talk about.

The food is delicious and a great value. A variety of Moroccan dishes including tagine and kabab wraps. The chicken shwarma was a hit with the family. Despite the full bar it has a halal menu. Service can be slow but always pleasant.
