Excellent food, service was good on a takeout. I’d never been there before, didn’t know the menu and the cashier was helpful. Well seasoned, hot food with fresh veggies. Will be back!

Food is always good. Staff is friendly to the customers. From the counter you can hear all conversations and goings-on happening in the kitchen. At times I've heard some interesting conversations, as well as arguing and complaining by some of the staff. Just makes waiting for my order a bit uncomfortable.

My favorite. The evening staff is among the best. I frequent here and they great me, help me and just make you feel valued. Hard to find all of that in one place. The kind male manager always there to do what he can. Thank you

Great food, glad that they deliver but sometimes take out orders take a little long to get there but it’s understandable during rushes and stuff

Valentino's was totally awesome. I walk with a cane and it makes it's hard to get around some time, but I manage. Today when I went with him to pick up my order so woman notice to my difficulty and she immediately got someone to help me out the car with my orders. Thank you John. It made a difference

Was going for buffet but found it's only carryout and delivery now. Google still has the restaurant listed as open. We did order to-go. The guy who helped us was great, and the food was delicious. Just miss the buffet.

I went in at 2:30 in the afternoon for a single slice of pizza. No single slices available at that time. I had to order one. It was small, but about ten dollars. The sauce surprised me, being overly sweet and not much sausage on my sausage pizza.
The staff was delightful! I just won't be back during the in-between times.

Called even when busy on night we ordered food was hot and ready on time. Worth the higher prices. Could really taste the lasagna sauce. Light and rightly seasoned. Pizza was good and fantastic crust. Cooked to perfection. 5 stars all the way.

Valentino's is a favorite from my childhood, and I sometimes like to grab a tray of lasagna when passing through Omaha. I placed a takeout order earlier today for lasagna, and also added three jars of Valentino's spaghetti sauce to my order (it's great to jazz up leftovers from other restaurants that have turned bland in the fridge). Shortly after placing my order, we received a call that they were out of spaghetti sauce. Disappointing since I don't have a Valentino's near me, but I was still looking forward to my lasagna. Imagine my surprise when my husband emerged from the restaurant holding our lasagna... AND THREE JARS OF SPAGHETTI SAUCE! A gentleman who was working today ran to another Valentino's to procure it just for me. Totally unexpected and seriously made my day. The lasagna was delicious too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

In Omaha from SD and my son saw a Valentinos. We haven't eaten at a Valentinos since the Sioux Falls location closed years ago. Disappointing that there isn't a buffet anymore, but, we ordered take out and it was just as delicious as we remember. Service was fantastic and the lady at the counter (receipt says Ernestine) was incredible at her job and her people skills are on point. Thank you for a delicious and nostalgic meal!
6/9/2022 Update: Passed through for a 2nd time and visited again and the food was even better and the Service from Ernestine at the counter was spot on. She was just as personable as the last time. Loved our 2 experiences here.

The lunchtime deal they have is the best deal you can get in Omaha for under 6$. The staff is very good. I have been going at least ones a week for almost 3 years. I have never had anything but the best service and great food. I tell every one i know about there deals. So much cheese.

Pizza is good, if you get it made to order. Buffet bad. This place is also dirty. Not a huge buffet fan but there are better buffets than this around.

Can you please tell me Valentinos how you charge $8 for lunch and don't have anything on your buffet ready by noon? Where are the chicken strips? Meatballs? Shrimp? It was all empty and when I asked the clueless employee behind the counter they said "the manager says that's all we have today". What? Did you run out of food? Chickens go on strike? Your dessert bar was the same. Milk was WARM! Disgusting. Seriously, it's no wonder you're going down the tubes.

Quality Plummeting- Needs to go back to what they are good at. We ate here at about 8pm on a Friday night and apparently they decided to stop refreshing the buffet 2 hours earlier. All the pizza looked dried out and only about half of the flavors they offer were even on the buffet. I asked them to refresh but they never did. I finally went up and pulled the 2 or 3 crusty old pieces of each flavor I wanted so they would finally make some fresh pizzas. Those pieces I pulled off sat uneaten at my table because they looked disgusting. So I have to wonder what is gained by leaving stale pizza on the bar when it ends up in the trash anyway and only disappoints your customers? The pasta looked horrible. It appeared to have been overcooked to begin with, then they just let it sit on steam table and dry out. They never refreshed it the whole time we were there. I don't think they figured out that the reason nobody is taking the pasta is because it looks like crap. So it just continued to sit and dry out. Actually everything on the buffet was dried out and unappetizing. The quality these restaurants used to have has really declined. I used to love Valentino's. They have gone away from what they are good at- salad bar, pizza, pasta and cinnamon dessert pizza and now those things really aren't that great either. This really isn't cheap either so to pay that much for unappealing, old crusty pizza and overcooked pasta is just a waste of money. Bring back the Valentino's of old please!!!! Get rid of the taco bar and onion rings and focus on being the best Italian pizza/pasta buffet. We won't be visiting again any time soon- just not something to look forward to anymore.

Large selection but don't expect to like what you get. Just not worth it.

There is a larege selection.... There is a large selection but the food is mediocre at best. have been here several times and more often than not, food trays are either empty or cold.

Still good after all these years. Valentino's Pizza was the favorite pizza of my youth. We used to drive to Lincoln just to eat there before they opened Omaha locations in the 1980s.
Times and tastes change, and the consistent quality that Valentino's always prided themselves in fell into disrepair. But we always seem to get consistent high quality pies from this NW Omaha location.
Service is fast, and the pizzas are hot and tasty. I no longer think they are the best in town...my tastes tend toward NY Style pies, but if soft crusted, doughy style pizza is to your liking, this is your place.

The BEST pizza in Nebraska! Great with Husker football.
Travelling Diner
An Omaha Tradition. We always swing by Valentino's for a pizza and salad when watching a 'Husker game while visiting the relatives. I like the thin crust the best. The lunch buffet is pretty broad by pizza restaurant standards and is of good quality.

All-you-can eat buffet. We go for the lunch buffet & it's a nice selection. I especially love their breadsticks. Not sure what they do differently to make their pizza dough, but I love it above anyone else's. Also locally-owned!
