When they say best kept secret, this hole in the wall gem is really one of Omaha's best secret. You WILL NOT go wrong here. It is a small dive dinner that really lives up to "we known for...". The Alpine Inn… where the wait staff throw chicken bones out to feed the raccoons. Basically it’s morbidly obese people eating fried chicken watching morbidly obese raccoons eating fried chicken. I think it’s the happiest place on earth. Would be great for a destination wedding. I love this place.

Didn't get to see any raccoons, but saw a little black kitten who made my day! 🐈⬛ The fried chicken was surprisingly delicious; flavorful and perfectly crispy! The original owners' grandson came by to talk to us right before we left. Every table was occupied, but the service remained uninterrupted.
