I love this place and I am very sad to hear that it will soon be closing soon as it is my favorite breakfast place this side of town. If you’ve been wanting to try this place I strongly suggest that you do it now and stop waiting before it’s too late too experience it. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch chicken and waffles is absolutely incredible if you like sweet and savory. If your more of a classic breakfast person they have got you covered. The menu has something for just about everyone’s taste and if you can’t decide, the staff is great with recommendations. Like I said before, I’m really gonna miss this place.

Over Easy is a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska! We stopped here for breakfast on a road trip and got a few different things. Everything tasted wonderful, from the food to the drinks! I got the chicken and waffles, and they were some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in a long time! I am craving them so much and I hope I’m back in the area again soon so I can have them again. I loved the combination of waffle, perfectly-seasoned chicken, fruits and the spicy honey sriracha. Every bite was so flavorful! This is an awesome place that should be your next breakfast visit. I know I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Omaha!

This food was so good!! The only thing better than the food was the service. Being shorthanded the staff still smiled, were personable, gave info on the food, helped with questions, and when it slowed slightly they swung by to talk a bit more. I'm gluten free and there isn't much that is GF but what is there is AMAZING!! We will be back.

We lived in Omaha for 11 months and Over Easy was hands down our favorite breakfast place. We will miss it! Chicken and waffles was my favorite dish, but you can’t go wrong with anything they do!

My wife and I was out for Brunch and settled on Over Easy. Was very pleased we did! The host was very energetic and fun. Made the wait time go by. The wait is well worth every minute. I had the chicken and waffles( first time trying any) and my Sweetheart had the French toast. Order came out in a timely matter even tho they was busy. Food was nicely Presented. We will be becoming regulars.

This place is incredible. A great community establishment that deserves 5 stars. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Nick and team for the experience.
Make sure and get the hashbrown rounds and ask for the jalapeño jelly for dipping!

No complaints here! Got to love a local business that supports other local businesses. Avocado toast with poached egg hit the spot. Their morning drinks are really good too. They also sell homemade jams/ jellies and local hot sauce¡

Great service, fair pricing for West O and delicious food. I had the chicken and waffles and we shared a cinnamon roll. Both are fantastic and presented unlike any I've ever seen. Check them out!

Decent little breakfast joint. First time here, would come back, but I left a little hungry still. Everything had good flavor. I think these two hush puppy things are their version of hash browns? I was not impressed with those.
The breakfast mimos adaptation was good.
The Harry Potter themed event was amazing! 90-120 minute wait, but the butterbeer and pumpkin juice are so worth it. The food was solid but not out of the ordinary.

great food! and they also have the hot sauce from a local gal that I love! *UPDATE* 10/24/21 they hosted a Harry Potter Themed menu. They decorated the place with pages from the books, printed out articles from the Daily Prophet (newspaper in Harry Potter) and more decorations behind the counter. The host was amazing. He had to deal with both great customers, as well as unruly ones. He was all over the place, and by the looks of it he was doing multiple jobs. The service is fantastic, and I'm sure that the food will be even better.

Returned recently because of their Harry potter themed brunch.
The restaurant was decorated and the menu names had all been changed to Harry potteresque items.
The eggs benedict was a five star item in terms of flavor.
The breakfast carnitas were good as well though the sweet potato tator tots were not crispy. 4 stars
The chicken and waffles (Harry potter themed) was good. I had some of my friends. 4.5 stars. One of them said they reminded her of the bubble waffle from Hong Kong cafes but it wasn't her favorite, but she loved the chicken.
It remains a great spot for breakfast with pricing that runs a little higher.
Previous review:
Enjoyable little breakfast spot.
Service was very good when we went, but at times difficult to get the servers attention.
Would recommend the lobster cake Benny for something different.
The Dutch baby was fine, but not my favorite.
Hash brown rounds were enjoyable. You can add for $4.99
It's a very comfortable area to sit in. Parking is very easy.
Happy to come back but still need to find a must have item. We didn't order the 2 notable ones from the menu. They have a Reuben that was voted one of the top and a breakfast boat that's "as seen on tv."

O.M.G. ! For the season they have pumpkin cinnamon rolls! With brown butter icing. Since moving to Omaha less than a year ago, we've been enticed with cinnamon rolls everywhere we go. By Far these are the BEST! Thier Caramel Coffee is fantastic too! Even tho short staff they are worth the wait! Staff is courteous, polite and still friendly with the constant wait...again well worth it. Breakfast was great also!
Open 7-2pm (7 days a week). We will definitely be back. A place you can take your kids or grandma!

I had the West O Lobster Benedict and it was made well. There was a bit too much hollandaise sauce for my taste but overall it tasted great. The house coffee was pretty strong and full-bodied, the way I like it.
The place was close to full when we got there but they still were able to seat us and take our orders fairly quickly.
The interior was simple yet lively. I would say it’s a great place to go for breakfast and brunch especially because they also serve mimosas.

Everything we tried was delicious. The spicy chicken and waffles were fabulous! Full of flavor! We also tried the cinnamon roll and enjoyed the coffee. The staff were also friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!

Ordered the chicken and waffles, the honey glaze was amazing! The waffles were the best consistency of crispy and fluffy. The chicken was tender! Overall great meal to start my day!

Food was delicious and well prepared. Interesting menu items not expected at a breakfast place and unique versions of the typical breakfast items. The homemade pop-tart and hash brown rounds we're delicious. The wait times are the reason for the 4 stars. It was busy and wait time to get a table was expected and reasonable. The wait once seated and ordered was far too long. We ordered as soon as the waitress appeared at our table. The time from seated at the table to food on table was 35 minutes, I timed it, I was hungry. The wait alone will make me a bit hesitant to return, but I eventually will, the food was far too delicious.

They have a drive-thru for quick meals on the go. However a few items like the egg Benedict aren't served in the Drive-Thru.Greeted at the door the people are very friendly. Bathrooms are clean tables are clean. My waiter was very attentive gave space when needed and had a lot of knowledge of what was on the menu. All the food is very delicious. Downside the space is very small and gets full very quick. I'll be looking forward to seeing them relocate in a bigger location

Went for their Harry Potter themed breakfast. Food was excellent, drinks were better, service and atmosphere was best. Will definitely be returning.
