Review La Casa Pizzeria - Omaha

Rob Hartung
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Of all of the choices for cuisine Omaha has to offer, this place just nails it. Flavor to spare.

I had lasagna and salad and cassata for dessert. Friendly Staff, great food. I highly recommend you try them out.๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜‹

The La Casa food truck came to our work today. I got the pizza and salad combo with a rootbeer for only $10! I tried the pepperoni pizza and the hamburger pizza. Pretty good! ๐Ÿ˜

This place has a vintage vibe to it, a classic date night kind of place.. The ambience is pleasant. Food was delicious and portion wise sufficient. Their dishes were full of cheese and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We ordered garlic bread for appetizers and it was yum. For the main course we ordered their very famous Penne Pollo Al Forno Pasta and Chicken & Peppers Lasagna and we knew we made the right choice. ๐Ÿ˜ We settled for Cannoli for dessert, it is a must try if you visit this place . Overall thumbs up to this place and their staff were very nice with a warm smile ๐Ÿ˜Š

Came in and ate with a big party on Saturday. The food was excellent, but the service was even better. Audrey was fantastic! Everything came out in a timely fashion and our drinks were never half empty. 5 stars for her! To the owner: Appreciate your response. Will definitely be in soon!

I had the best dinning experience with my 3 grand daughters. The owner and staff were amazing and so kind to us. The food was perfectly prepared and tasted wonderful. I can't wait to return for our next grandma and grand daughter date night. This will be our regular spot ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ•see you ladies Friday.

A great place to grab incredible pizzas and pastas. The house ricotta appetizer was amazing. Highly recommend La Casa if you're ever looking for non-chain pizzas.

Great customer service and I love spots that sell some gear. I came from Colorado and had to buy a T-shirt! The hamburger pizza was delicious and I asked for the different sides of sauces. Super unique taste and will definitely be always eating there when I visit Omaha for business and travel. Next I'm going to get anchovies on the pizza since side was only one piece haha. Can't wait to try their other options. I got to hear from one of the owners on the story of how they started and that's the reason I will continue to support their business. The sign outside has been in 2 movies and will continue to serve amazing pizza to millions where you can't buy anywhere else. Cheers Peppi! ๐Ÿ•

I grew up eating toasted ravioli, a simple enough food I think. But it's so hard to find anymore. La Casa prepares toasted ravioli that takes me back to my youth. And I love their classic hamburger pizza. Now pizza you can get almost anywhere but La Casa Pizza looks different (square) and has a unique taste I've not found anywhere. I just love this place as does my family!

La Casa never disappoints! Some people say it's a love it or hate it with no middle ground, but I'm squarely in the love it category! From the pasta to the Neapolitan style pizza, you can't go wrong. It's a little pricey, so be prepared.

Courteous staff, pristine venue, prompt service. Classic surroundings that capture and retain prior memories blended perfectly with modern resto. Hamburger mushroom onion pizza on a thin crust JUST like I recall from 30 years ago - amazing! The rings!?! Not spiced up like elsewhere which means salt them or otherwise to your taste. The onions perfectly heated, the bread shell delicately toasted. We ordered plenty to take home to re-enjoy on another day. LaCasa is a destination venue, a trip worth taking. We'll be back.

Absolute amercian classic! Speaking as a north Omaha resident here, this is the best pizza in the state! But be cautious, you have to go to the one on Leavenworth, Grover and west are NOT the same. We get the Hamburger/onion pizza and o rings every time and hammer it! If youโ€™re coming to Omaha you have to have this.

A time honored tradition in our family. Nothing else like it in the metro area. The thin crust is baked, then grilled to perfection. Their use of Mozzarella and Romano separates them from the rest of the pack. La Casa has retained their heritage and decor through the years. Pricing is reasonable, quality is above average and the same every time. Quick and reasonably priced lunch menus. Whatโ€™s not to love?

Best Neapolitan style pizza in Omaha. Established in 1953, this cozy restraunt is a fixture of culinary favorites. Unique crust with top quality ingredients! I ordered the hamburger classic, all romano with optional imported Romano on top. No many places offer quality, service and price. Th original La Casa Pizza does. You won't go wrong here.

First time here. Ordered the penne pollo al forno and ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Seriously the best Alfredo sauce Iโ€™ve ever had! Hubs got a calzone and says itโ€™s ๐Ÿ‘Œ Drinks are great, too.

LaCasa is the best pizza!! I love that they have a late night option especially when in benson ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ sometimes they take a moment, but hey it's pizza (or ravioli even!!) from a truck that still taste awesome!!

At the food truck-I was the only one in line at the end of the lunch hour. The reheated pizza was burnt bad on the bottom and raviolis way over cooked on the black side in color. All tasted bad, nobody at the office would eat it. Disappointed

I am now eating LaCasa pizza, I think Amber, and Avery say it best, nope. If I could ever say enough about this pizza it's only because I ran out of actual words in the English language and I'm learning a whole other language to better describe it. Crust: they advertise a true Neopolitan style pizza, again, nope. A true Neo pizza bakes at 900 degrees for 60-90 seconds, this didn't do that. This MAYBE baked at 700 degrees for a little under 5 minutes. Although that is still hot, it doesn't have what it takes to make the cut. The crust tastes burnt without actually being burnt, just lightly charred in all the wrong ways. It lacks on flavor and support and all around goodness. Sauce: forget about it, you don't want this sauce. A true Neo style pizza is supposed to be made with tomatoes picked from the East side of Mt. Vesuvius for it's sweetness and how soft they are, they used freaking Roma tomatoes. What's wrong with you?? Go to church and ask for forgiveness. Cheese: I love cheese, particularly mozzarella. One thing I love about Neopolitan style pizza is the cheese, Buffalo milk mozzarella. It's also pretty easy to get. Guess it was too much to ask from these guys, the cheese looks and tastes like they got it for a discount from Walmart because it was about to expire. Seriously guys, can you get one part of this specialty style pizza right please?? Overall I've gotta say that this pizza sucks. It's like when you were sick as a kid. You'd stay home, throw up a couple of times and pass out, but once you woke up you had that nasty aftertaste in your mouth, that's what this pizza tastes like, nasty vomit aftertaste. I'm sorry to anyone who goes here wanting some good pizza and ends up getting this. If I could I would give this pizza a negative number of slices, instead I'll just take it away and tell you to go get something better.

La Casa is THE best pizza crust I have EVER eaten in my life! I am not a big lover of crust, especially thick. Their's is thin with a very unique flavour. The combo with Romano and Mozzarella cheese with their special seasoned flavour of sauce and hamburger or Quattro 4 cheese is out of this world! Seriously nothing like it ANYWHERE else. I am from Omaha and live in Denver now. I can't imagine my life without it, so I go whenever I am back - which is pretty often. Thank you La Casa!

Went there with friends for lunch, had the pizza & salad lunch special, pizza was so soggy and rubbery it had to be sawed with a knife, salad was limp and scimpy. Service was slow even tho we were the only ones in the dining room. Been going there since the 60's so very disappointed.

Our waiter was wonderful but I'm sorry to say I was really disappointed in the Calzoni and the classic hamburger pizza. Both were about 3 seconds away from being burned. I ordered extra cheese on the pizza and still couldn't see any. The Calzoni couldn't be picked up to eat because the crust was too thin, soggy and falling apart, the filling was also very sparse. The salad and dressing were very good and so was the little piece of bread that came with the salad.
Joshua Iltzsch
From my experiences you either love it or you hate it, I love it! It is different from any other pizza I have ever had and I have a hard time putting it into the same category as other pizza places. Service is always top notch and friendly.

I recently hired the food truck to cater an event at my home. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! I would highly recommend them for your next event!
Nina Nguyen
Food's pretty good, but service really sucks. Their waiters or waitress aren't bad, but it took over 30 mins to food. If their food truck went around I would eat from the truck instead of the restaurant.
Mark Kresl
The absolute worst service on earth. Not only was the order given to the wrong person, but the manager copped an attitude when my wife asked where the pizza we ordered an hour ago was. They serve great pizza. But the arrogance and rudeness is an all the time thing. Never again.

Pizza was great and the Raviolis were oh sooo yummy! My kids and I enjoyed everything about it. Very nice staff. I teased my cousin Jill who lives in California with photos of your sign and the food. She's from Omaha and enjoyed eating at LaCasa when she was going up

Our family always enjoys our meals at LaCasa, my daughter loves the gluten free pizza. The service is good and everyone that has waited our table has been friendly and helpful. Thank you all.

Please offer delivery for those of us who love your pizza but donโ€™t drive!

All Pizzas were burnt, got three Pizzas, ordered 2, said would not be charged for 3rd, then get the bill with $12 off. Appetizers were good, Chicken Alfredo had little sauce
