Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar - Omaha - Photo album

Late review: We were here at 12:45. It was a little busy because of lunch times. The food takes almost half an hour for some reason. The waitress kinda nice, but she so hurries. She did not even listen to all the orders, and of course, she came back and asked again. The food was delicious, but it
Five stars for the great quality seafood/oyster bar. The oysters here are great and flown in next-day, so they live up to their name. Fish tastes fresh. The shrimp is great and the clam chowder is too. Happy hour offers seafood and non-seafood options. A fun spot to hit up for lunch or after work. D
You are near downtown Omaha and there is this place that looks like it might be down on the docks in New Orleans, you enter, paper table coverings, a bar, good beer and very good seafood. No white table cloths, no pretentious surroundings, just a dockside bar with great seafood. The Gumbo was ter
Great service and wonderful easy atmosphere. The staff are very friendly asking about where your from? Are you a tourist or local.. and providing recommendations about where to go if you have any question... the food.. is wonderful. The best oysters, with a great selection of oysters available. The
My family and I were in town for my oldest daughter's dance competition. We were lucky to find a seafood restaurant still open after competition night that accommodated our Lenten sacrifice. If you love seafood, you have to give this place a try. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and had o
Just stopping by to have some good seafood while in town, I came across this gem of an establishment. I wanted a light meal and I did just that; catfish bites, grilled oysters and a strawberry lemonade that the waitress/ bartender prepared for me. The staff was helpful & friendly, even allowed to pa
We popped in for a relaxed date night. Always great food, attentive and serious servers, reasonable prices. Definitely a top notch place. The patio was nice that night, in the shade, quiet, gave us great ambiance. Had some NAs for those who enjoy alcohol free options. Below is the Gruben, a Ruben us
Great happy hour specials ! Very local with best oyster deal in town. Loved their peel and eat shrimp as well and clam strip. Wish I have more time to sample all the foods on the menu
Wonderful atmosphere! They have patio seating if it’s a nice day it might be fun to sit out there. The customer service was fantastic. I’m so impressed with their selection of allergy friendly foods! I got a po boy and it wasn’t to spicy for my sensitive palate so I very much appreciate that. It was
Seafood in Omaha? I was skeptical. Shucks removed that skepticism rather quickly. I sat at the bar where I had oysters being prepared for me. The happy hour was solid, $1 an oyster. I think the oysters were called the early points? Not my favorite type of oyster but it got the job done. The seafood
Great staff very friendly and quick to make sure you get your food and drinks! I love sitting at the bar when I go. You can watch them prepare your oysters which is pretty cool. The food has always been amazing- my favorite is their homemade clam chowder
OMG! Some of the BEST seafood we have ever had! And we live literally on the Pacific Ocean north of Seattle. The oysters were sublime, four choices, each one distinctly different. Ben & Sarah took tremendous care and ensured our evening was nothing short of beyond memorable! A night to remember for
Loved the food!! The handicapped parking was a bit of a joke. In the back of the restaurant with only gravel. The food was excellent!!! As you can see from the photos...we kind of forgot to take photos until we were almost done! Oh...in one of the Oysters Rockefeller...we found a pearl!!
Great gluten free options, great service, didn't do alcohol this time, but the drink specials looked interesting, happy hour specials on food are priced well. Service was excellent, except we asked for more lemons for the fish and didn't get them, very minor issue, it won't keep me from going back.
I had never had the pleasure of eating here but for my first time experience it was amazing. I had the seafood taco it was soooo delicious. We had a party of 6. Everyone enjoyed their meals. It’s a small place so if you want a big party you may have to sit at different tables. The only thing that
16 years after they opened we finally got around to going. We are originally from New Orleans and my wife wanted oysters for her birthday. They did not disappoint. I had the lobster stuffed mushrooms (normally an appetizer) and a side dish of green bean risotto. The meal was excellent.
Cool spot! Good happy hour options. The gumbo had some good flavor. The jambalaya was okay but was a bit bland to my taste, but since everyone else's dishes looked really good, still well worth 4+ stars and good service.
Had been meaning to visit here and now I'm mad that I waited so long! Service was fantastic! Martinis with sea food is my favorite. We did peel and eat shrimp and the round about of oysters. We also did the seafood enchiladas and they were very tasty! Can't wait to be a regular because I'm going to
We had a party of 6 on a Friday night during lent. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The waitress was friendly and did a great job! The food was delicious!! We ordered Maryland crab cakes and catfish fingers. The fish was moist, but not greasy and very flavorful, but not fishy! Woul
