Greek Islands - Omaha - Photo album

Absolutely delicious! Had the vegetarian gyro with sautéed veggies — they were cooked wonderfully. Greek potatoes also super tasty. Nice vibe inside and kind servers. A new favorite spot in Omaha!
We ordered take-out and waited for it inside the restaurant but you can call ahead. We showed up between 6-7 pm on a Tuesday, and the restaurant was very busy, but the wait only took 15 minutes, and they have a small bench to sit on inside by the front desk. The staff were all super friendly and did
I always enjoy this place - best gyros in town in my opinion. The Kalamari is perfectly breaded, the Mad Greek Gyro is my absolute favorite, and Grilled Salmon had just the right amount of blackened to it.
Although I've heard about this place for years, I finally had the opportunity to try it. I was very much impressed with the DELICIOUS food we had. Started with the flaming saganaki with shrimp. We spread the melty cheese on buttered bread, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection! I tried the street
Great food!! The spanadip was absolutely phenomenal. I wanted to marry it! The service was decent, not spectacular, but no complaints. The vibe was nice. Prices were fair.
This place was very nice! The hubby and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the Athenian salad, the hubby ordered a gyro sandwich with fries. Both were very good. The waitress was friendly and I loved how the restaurant was decorated. If you are ever in Omaha Nebraska you have to stop here! You won't
I must say this place has a certain refreshing vibe. Spacious and beautifully arranged. We tried the Greek classic Flaming Saganaki & Kalamari It was fantastic. The Greek salad was fine, a wee bit more feta cheese on top would have been great 👍 Lastly, Souvlaki was appetizing and perfectly done.
I've been here several times, and the food has been great every time. The staff is excellent about any requests I have (leaving out an ingredient or putting the sauce on the side). They got a beautiful mural on the wall. 10/10 will visit again.
A nice Greek restaurant that has some delicious options. We had a number of items but some were definitely better than others on our visit. I liked that they served us bread with butter right away as our party was hungry. Tour of Greece Tiropita (cheese in phylo pastry) 3 stars. I could taste the o
We hosted a church group of 30 on a Friday night. Always a good party place and lots of good food. We had one waitress for all of us, Maddie, and boy was she fantastic! Great, pleasant gal. Missed the 5 stars as we had to share the room with another group.
I think this place has the best Greek food. Gyros are out of this world sorry pictures were after we started eating. That's cuz it was just so good
Our server was nice. The food was good, especially the hummus and warm pita bread...best hummus I've ever had! It did take them a long time to get our main dishes out, and the white sauce on the gyro wasn't all that good (it tasted more like french onion dip). All-in-all, decent place, I'd go bac
Stop by for appetizers and have the tour of Greece.. We were told that this was an excellent old Greek restaurant and were not surprised at all. , it was excellent.
Everything about this place made it feel like authentic. The smells were amazing and the Tour de appetizers the pastry lite & fluffy the meatballs w dipping sauce and gyro meat (OMG) stellar!! Our entree came well timed hot and as appealing to the eyes as to my tastebuds. My dining partner was eq
Portions, portions, portions First trip out here with the wife and kiddos, and it was absolutely fantastic. We learned very quickly that the portions here are much greater than the portions we were used to back East. It is a fantastic bang for your buck with great quality food here. I got the gyro
I've occasionally dined at Greek Isles but my all-time favorite was the Parthenon in Lincoln, however, they closed their restaurant and only do catering. AARGH! So, now, I'm back to Greek Isles but truly I want All Lamb or Goat meat, not mixtures with beef or pork or chicken. Why? Because that's how
