Love it!
It’s nice and spacious, the furnishings are large enough for full size humans, the fireplace and lamp light adds a nice touch. The food is really great quality, and very well prepared, service was spot on!

Great food! Love the gnocchi and shoestring fries on happy hour. Great wine list too! Fun place to take friends. Always relaxing!
The food is exceptional, and lunch prices are comparable to big chain restaurants - yet with such better food! Yum. Will go back for lunch there again. Lovely presentation. Delicious food. I had the carrot terragon soup and chopped salad; both were scrumptious!
We love this place! We've never been disappointed (not even a little) and always look forward to our next visit. We had the best server tonight, and the food & drinks were fabulous, as always.
I am fortunate to be able to dine a restaurants around the country. I Love food. We were introduced to Waterstreet by friends. This was my third time to dine here. I wanted to celebrate my birthday with family. My Steak was cooked to perfection. Everyone's meals were fantastic!
It didn't matter Fish, Steak, Salads, Amazing Service - If you are in Olympia, You should stop in. Thanks for making it a wonderful evening!
I've liked this place for over a decade...
Great wine selection and creative food
My sister and I grew up in France and we tend to have particularly high standards when it comes to food and drinks - so when we say the food and drinks here were exceptional, we do not say it lightly. What a wonderful surprise. The ambiance was great too. We will definitely be back. Thank you Tatiana for so graciously serving us while we caught up all afternoon ;)
One of our favorite restaurants and not just in Olympia! Although I was extremely disappointed to hear the meatloaf wasn’t on the menu.... this NEEDS to be back ASAP! Staff are very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the wine pairings. Extremely professional and service is outstanding!
Great service. Excellent food. The staff were all extremely accomodating to our needs, friendly and helpful!
Great food and excellent service! We will definitely return.
Food was excellent as well as the service. Love the Decor. A long drive from Browns Point, WA but will surely make it to eat here.
Waterstreet Cafe is off the beaten track, yet still downtown. My daughter and I each had an omelet. It was totally unlike any omelet I have ever eaten - soooo gooood! It even had extremely thinly-sliced apples in it. Yum! They have a dessert wine with my name - "Klein Constantia" - vin de Constance on it. So I asked if I could get the bottle when it's empty. They took my name and number & will call me when it's empty.
Great place for any meal. I have had multiple breakfasts, lunches, and suppers here. The food has always been top notch. Reservations are recommended for evenings. Early and mid-day wait staff service has lacked in the past, but is attentive now. Weekends and eve service has always been awesome. Kids are welcome. Fully handicapped accessible. Full bar. Great coffee sourced from Umbria in Seattle.
Separate / private rooms are available for 20-50(ish) people.
Summer patio dining would be greatly improved with better quality tables & seating.
If you found this post to be helpful please consider giving a thumbs-up.
Excellent cocktails and wine list. The menu is typically seasonal and the dishes are delicious. The servers are quick and friendly. I had the ginger braised pork cheeks and it was great!
Man, don't know where to start? Dad's 90th birthday, 14 squirrelly family members from all over the USA, one great server. Kyle did a absolutely fabulous bang up job. We aren't an easy crew. Boardering between indecision and demanding; he handled us like a professional ring leader. Patient, respectable, and anticipated every need. We never waited for anything. Oh, and the food/ drinks were great too, but the service was the star this night.
I ate the best salmon soup I ever tried! And the sandwiches are great! Totally recommend!
This is one of my favorite spots for dinner, or just a late night glass of wine and a delectable dessert. The decor and feel is open and bustling, while remaining elegant. The menu is seasonal and local which keeps the chef avant-garde. I had a foxglove chardonnay which was a delicate and delicious as it's name sake. We shared a chocolate dessert that was to die for. It is a special treat each and every time and we especially enjoy to alfresco seating.
Excellent, Service, great light lunch, and it is perfect place for business meetings from groups 15 and up. It's convenient to park especially with the parking app in Olympia it's worth the drive we came all the way from Sumner Washington
It had been a long time since I'd gone to Waterstreet Cafe. The atmosphere is very nice though on a Saturday night very loud. If you want a quiet evening conversation during peak hours this would not be the place for you. .We chose three small plates to share, and aside from the food being delicious, I felt the portions were generous. We also chose two of their specialty cocktails, and both were very good and well presented. I would definitely recommend Waterstreet Cafe. I have never been disappointed.
