Jo-bawb's Bbq

I'm from Massachusetts so I may not be the best expert on BBQ. But when the burnt ends literally melts in your mouth, you know Jo-Bawb's is doing it right. Very friendly people, I tried the brisket, burnt ends, jalapeno sausage, ribs, Texas toast, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was juicy, flavorful, yet not over salty like other BBQ can be. Very easy to pay via credit card, and there's a nice outdoor/indoor setting with six tables that can easily fit 4-6 people, this is a BBQ spot you can't afford to miss. I arrived at 12:10 pm, make sure to get here early.

If it is one thing I love, it is barbecue!! We are new to OKC and I found the perfect joint. Jo-Bawb’s BBQ is the Real McCoy!!! We took our meal to go but I wish we stayed. It was a lovely experience eating BBQ from an Award winning professional. Our BBQ Pit Boss allowed us behind the scenes to see all of their awards. You do not win these awards by being mediocre…I wish you could smell these photos!! Get in your car and drive out and taste this BBQ…I guarantee you will walk away a happy camper.

Just passing thru trying to find my way somewhere and happened upon this *Spot, had to return to try and was greeted by friendly, smiling, professional Host n Hostess! She offered a taste test of the burnt ends brisket and me not ever liking this no matter where I've tried, #delish does not do it justice! Ordered Ribs, BB, Macaroni it was all #1, got to see the Numerous State Trophy Room, just enjoyed the short tour as much as I did the food!* We will be making this out BBQ go to place, It was straight worth it, none can compare #fr

Love the concept food truck outside seating inside a building. It's effectiveness and efficiency is amazing! I didn't have to wait to long for my food had 3 people in front of me and still got my food in Less than 5 min. The gentleman who took my order was fun to talk to and had a great attitude. This is my new favorite BBQ Joint in OKC. Nice music there is no Air conditioning however, they do have fans which makes it bearable to eat and converse at. Only "gripe"would be parking when noones there LOL I pulled up right beside the place at first not realizing there was a seating area next to the truck LOL. I had the sampler and burnt ends and OMG the flavor of all the meat is just exquisite, rich and savory with a slight hint of heat a beautiful crust just mouth watering! Price is fair spent $30-$40 for 2 people. The potato salad was perfect non of the flavors were over/under powered even the mustard didn't have a strong bite it was great. I didn't need the sauce but wanted to give a honest review and the sauce was good not to much viniger and paird great with the brisket. I will recommend this place 10/10 times.

Consistently the best bbq I've ever had in my life. The owners couldn't be nicer, more genuine folks. People going to competitors and not trying this spot are disservicing themselves. Try the sliced brisket, ribs or if you're lucky, burnt ends if they are still available. Get there before they sell out for the day!

Jo-Bawb is the real deal, this is barbecue focused on quality and nothing gets in his way. We’ve got a lot of award winning bbq in the metro, but you can tell Jo-Bawb is a pro and also a treat to talk to serving up the best brisket in the city and best burnt ends from here to KC. Swing by earlier rather than later because he sells out quick!

I work right down the street. Couple of the guys went up there told me to give it a try. Does a fat boy like barbecue yes he does . I got half pound burnt ends, and their homemade beans . That pecan smoke comes all the way through. Amazing Burnt ends and I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

They were able to prep a 40-person pick-up order for us with a few days notice. They double checked to ensure we had everything for the party before sending us on our way. They also included a small pack of disposable tongs and serving spoons which was very helpful as we hadn't considered that with all the other planning going on. We had pretty much everything on the menu and no complaints whatsoever. Just wish we had ordered more of the Mac n Cheese, that was a huge hit.
