The Big Blue Truck puts out awesome food for a small price. Don't forget to order the huge side of avocado slices for $1! Four tacos for $5, and they are delicious.
Generally speaking when you see a place is cash only, you should check it out. This place is fantastic, and probably the best bargain in town. The $1 tacos are small but are fantastic home made and seasoned perfectly. Order them all the way, they know what they are doing. Even though they are just a buck, they don't scrimp on anything. Start with three and grab a bottled drink out of the cooler. Might take a little while, as they are making it for you. When they call your number and you open the styrafoam box you will understand true taco perfection, just the right heat, and all flavor. Oh, and they have a tip jar, so a little cash there might be a nice thanks for a great taco that goes way beyond what a dollar normally buys.
Don't be put off by the neighborhood, and having to pay cash, it is all worth it, and odds are there will be a few people around as you wait for your food. Am guessing you will be back. West of NW 10th and Portland and while it technically is a truck, I doubt it is going anywhere.
This is the place to go for a street taco. Take cash, take a chair, go hungry. No dress code. 3 tacos w/rice & beans is the best deal for $5 - get 1 pork, 1 beef & 1 chicken. Get a side of avocado for $1. The carrots are memorable.
Don't go anywhere else. Best in Okc, by far!
Delicious and fresh tasting. The owner is super nice and helpful. The food was so delicious. The tacos are only $1! The service was quick. We drove here all the way from Stillwater just to to find a place with yummy tacos. It was only place we could find that was open on a Sunday. Since it"s a food truck we had to eat outside (unfortunately it was 100 degrees outside), but they provided some tables and chairs.
I will drive half way across town to eat at the taco truck for several reasons but the most important one is its authenticity of a street style Mexican taco truck. For those that don't speak a little bit of Spanish it is best to order by pointing at the menu and holding up your fingers to signify just how many of something you want. I would highly recommend the lengua tacos and any torta on the menu. Their quesadillas are fantastic and they use an extremely high quality cheese for a food truck. Don't make alterations on your tacos it is best to take things as served. The tacos are a dollar a piece and so is the giant pile of avocado you can get on the side. The rice and beans is fantastically simple and wonderful. There relish accoutrements are on point. The hours at this low brow facility go long and late. At lunch hour you can find the most unexpected group of people which will include everything from doctors and lawyers to area gang bangers and the best part is everyone gets along because they're there for the food. This place draws from every crowd because the tacos are phenomenal for the price.
I am from San Diego & was told to try Sanchez taco truck after expressing disappointment with most oklahoma mexican food. I tried it not only once but eat their regularly. Delicious, freshly prepared & usually fast. Tonight I am writing a review and there are about 20 plus people here, so it takes about 10 minutes to receive your food.
Simple & satisfying. PIcked this place from among dozens of alternatives based on 95% rating, and it met or exceeded expectations. Had 2 chicken & 2 steak tacos . . . then went back for more! Anytime I have to ask if the tortillas were homemade (which they aren't - they come from Dallas), you know they must be tasty with just the right texture and flavor. Nice accents with roasted peppers & spicy carrots; otherwise not a lot of frills - just that nice warm soft flavorful feeling your mouth loves when it finds what it was looking for. I have more places to try, but this one sets the bar pretty high.
After many people telling me I had to try this I did and it is great. I had the chicken casadila for four dollars and it was the best four dollar meal I've ever had.
Decent, cheap, but greasy and salty. I had high hopes for this place. I would go again, but would not make a special trip out there. I had a carne asada burrito. It was tasty but a little salty and very very greasy, like more than 1/8 cup at the bottom of the bag from this burrito and two tacos. Salsa was good. Lengua was good. Price is great!
Best taco truck in town! I have been coming here for over 9 years! I don't go anywhere else. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get and its always fresh!
The tacos here are amazing! Me and a friend got each variety of meat between the two of us. Of the ones we got we liked the pastor the best, the tripe was quite tasty as well and it was crispy. Definitely a place to go quite often. Food came out quickly and the people working there were awesome and helpful. They got buzzers so it's easier to know when your food is done rather than trying to hear the workers over the road noise.
My hubby ate here for lunch. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. There was a bit of a line at lunch time but that’s usually a good thing! I’m curious of the sauce. It looks like they buy it elsewhere. It wasn’t as good as he hoped but overall he highly recommends.
One of the best taco trucks in the city. Super tasty tacos, and the beef torta is awesome. Good prices. It's hard to beat $1 a taco. Especially when they're this good. F.Y.I. - they are cash-only, and they're popular. So expect a short wait. It's worth it.
The best taco truck in town opens late and the price is the best in the area. They even serve horchata! Remember Cash only. But worth the visit!
Definitely give this taco truck a try! We had the tacos, burrito, and a quesadilla. Everything tasted great. Great flavor, great price, fast service! 👍🏽
I wish I could give them 10 stars ⭐️!!! You won’t be disappointed. 🤤
Al pastor was good. Asada was a little bland. Salsa was nothing special.
Note: they’re cash only.
Best tacos in OKC. This is a bit far from my house, but I rather go here. The tacos are sooo good, and the meat is always seasoned just right and cooked perfectly.
The food here is amazing! Best street tacos I've had.
Me and my parents ordered food here and the plates were practically shining by the time we got done eating.
The beans and rice is really good. Each type of meat is seasoned differently, which makes it even more interesting to eat.
10/10 would return.
